Varaha is the third avatar of Vishnu (there are ten including Rama, Krishna and Buddha that make up the last three). Hi Jason, Mentioning Buddha as an avatar of Vishnu is a controversial thing to say. Firstly I am sure Buddhists will never accepts it and secondly there are many Hindu sculptures where there is no mention of Buddha being an avatar of Vishnu. There is a big community of Hindu people who do believe he was an avatar but I am sure Buddhists do not want people to entertain this "theory". I am glad you studied about Dashavataras.

Unfortunately, all these temples were ransacked and vandalized by foreign Invaders. If you notice, most sculptures don't have a nose or face scraped off. That used to be the modus operandi back then to assert their might and humiliate polytheistic cultures. You'll find the same thing being done to many Egyptian sculptures. Even Sphinx for that matter.

Khajuraho temples were in active use through the end of the 12th century. This changed in the 13th century; after the army of Delhi Sultanate, under the command of the Muslim Sultan Qutb-ud-din Aibak, attacked and seized the Chandela kingdom. You would notice many idols are without their heads.

DANGER Warning: While living in India I was told that during the hot season, certain hot winds in the plains/deserts could be fatal. For that reason it was wise to Bring along a cloth (towel, turban, etc.) that you could wrap around your head, in case winds picked up and you felt ill. Otherwise you might fall unconscious and die within 45 minutes, if you didn't promptly get medical help (a shot with antibiotics and glucose or something for energy). Take care!

if you can please visit Ranakpur Jain temple and Kumbhalgarh Fort near Udaipur in rajasthan. Ranakpur Jain temple is best and most beautiful architecture remaining in North India. the temple has 1444 columns each one of them looking different than others with intricate details. the audacious architect built it such way that if you remove one column the entire Temple must come down. that too was done at a time when other parts of India was under foreign rule and thousands of temple were getting destroyed. Temple has a total of 84 underground chambers built to protect idols of the deities from destruction. its over 600 years old but still looks like it was built yesterday. Kumbhalgarh Fort has the second longest wall in the world after Great Wall of China. Please drink coconut water, lassi, sugarcane juice, lemon juice, buttermilk or chaach, fruits, ORS and Indian ice creams like kulfi, falooda, rabri to beat heat.

Man, it is going stay hot for a few months minimum in the plains of India. The only respite is in the Himalayas of the North or of North East India, you can do the Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh route. Stay Blessed!!

Come to Uttarakhand. The weather is a lot more pleasant here. If you like to visit temples built in ancient style then you will find plenty of them in Uttarakhand. Tip- The most mysterious amongst temples in Khajuraho is the '36 Yogini' temple which also is the oldest circa 2k years! No one knows this - Its walking distance from that lake at the center. The only temple constructed North to South as most are built from East to West!

incredible temple, the way Vishnu was lit by natural light in the inner room while all around was darker...highly symbolic but created with real devotion, intelligence and skill....one time i was out in 44C in Athens, Greece, on top of the Acropolis and i felt my head was cooking so i went down and straight into the air conditioned museum...so i know how you feel and i think it's very wise to head north like you plan, just for your own enjoyment

You reminded me of the time I went on a overnight camel trip in April! It was 43-45C during the two days. I had bought a turban and I think without it my Canadian head would have fried!! The inside of the temple looks more like some kind of ancient technology built by a now forgotten people and the people from years ago, possibly, new there was some kind of power to the place so they called it holy.

Well we built temple like this even today😅. Actually our sages written it down in our scriptures about ancient architecture and its rules. We follow the traditions even today but unlike in the past where they took extreme care and time to build a temple (some temples are build over a span of 100 yrs) in present we take around 100 yrs. The concept is energy, it is said there are naturally energised places so we build temples around it or we make temples and consecrate it. There are rules, rituals etc performed even today, but these are considered as pseudo science in modern interpretation of science.

@@junglie Agra has so many historical monuments like the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Baby Taj, Sikandar Tombs, Fatehpur Sikri Palace and the many riverfront gardens and medieval haveli mansions. However, the city is incredibly awfully maintained. It sits in the second poorest state of India. However, things seem to be changing with many historic buildings getting facade restoration and streets being cleaned and a brand new metro system being constructed. Still a long way to go though

Take "Gatiman Express Train" from Delhi(around 8 am) and reach Agra at around 10 am. See the Taj and board the same train the same day from Agra(6pm) and arrive in Delhi at(7.30 pm). Agra doesn't deserve any more time than that. And if you coming to India during April, May, or June then straight head to Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There are plenty of small towns in these two states of India and the temperature will be manageable.

The most uncomfortable climate I've lived in was Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The humidity was always high in that jungle. It was not my favorite, for sure. Stay safe!

I spent 4 years in Banaras Hindu University (Varanasi) … all our seniors said the toughest TEST was in the end when in May/June in 45degrees we had to go from one department to another all over the sprawling campus to get ‘No Dues’ signed from 3 libraries, 3 admin office and 2 gymnasiums. In 2008, I went to North India in late April/May...that heat is no joke, especially in Delhi, which was just awful with those temperatures. However, it is something one should experience in a lifetime. Go to India December-February, whole country is dry and pleasant, warm to kind of hot from the Deccan plateau south and in the north it feels like spring.

I'm still asking myself what you do with the audio from the DJI as well as th GoPro 10 because my audio is far worse as yours. Love your video's!

I increase the audio by 150% in editing.
