Why Nepalese people always rely on their Government ? It s the local people 's responsibility to fix their neighborhood. I can give you some examples of a few Nepalese communities who have taken care of themselves. Like Bhaktapur, Patan. Locals organize programs to clean and fix structures there. So learn from your own Nepalese people.

@Reflex Sri Lanka and Bhutan are probably the most quaint and beautiful in all of south asia. Sr Lanka has much higher average incomes (4-5 times of Nepal) and the highest standards of living in south asia. Nepal is beautiful when you really get into the mountains. Not the villages or cities.

This unfortunately is still on my bucket list because I’m constantly putting other trips where I don’t have to test my ability to holdup at altitude to chance lol. Next year is either Pakistan, Nepal, or something completely opposite like Brazil or the Philippines🤷🏽♂️ either way I’m looking forward to seeing Nepal through your lens once again✌🏽

Chris Brown If you’re going to the Philippines go to the rice terraces, and enjoy the mountains. I’m not sure if the ride to the mountains is as dangerous as this but it’s surely beautiful. ( The rice terraces was featured in the ending scene of Avengers the Infinity wars with Thanos)

Gabe, always remember, never take seats beyond or above the rear wheel of the bus. They have the most uncomfortable ride among all other seats.

@@johnmcenroe1760 That usually applies to high speed accidents on the highway but the roads leading up the Himalayas are mostly not smooth so there is a less chance of a high speed head-on crashes. The common issue is that the roads leading up in elevation are not wide enough so there is a greater chance large vehicles may slip out of the road and roll down a cliff. The bus drivers are quite skilled on these roads, thank fully.

Thus reminds me if a bus trip I did from Manali to Leh in India. Never been so scared in my life, sheer drops at side of uneven road all the way, bus bouncing back and forth giving you a nice view of all the wreckage of trucks and vehicles at bottom of the valley!,! Haha Worse than any flight I've been on, spectacular scenery tho 🤓

Interesting to watch you new trekking videos. I've never been to Langtang. The ride was pumpy, but at least not long. I took a bus from Kathmandu to Salleri. The bus ride was more than 13 hours.

Yeah I've been on much longer bus rides but this one was way worse due to the horrible conditions of the roads. The video didn't quite capture how bad it was. Would have been better if I was in the front of the bus to show what the roads were really like. Horrendous. Huge rocks, massive potholes, for hours and hours.
