I have been living, working and traveling in Nepal since 1987 and I send all of my Nepal clients to your videos. It has made their planning and ultimately their trips much less ... uncomfortable. Some say it "ruins" the surprise of Nepal, but it doesn't and I opt for a bit of education and preparedness over the real shock of not being prepared, being uncomfortable and not having a good experience. Thanks for your productions Gabriel! I am actually packing up to head back over in about 10 days. I will say however, that he makes traveling alone look easy, and although it's how I prefer to travel and it's easier when I can at least speak Nepali, having a guide can sometimes get you reduced rates, allows you to be accepted and to get to know the locals a bit better, saves you time that you can use to explore, keeps you safer in unfamiliar areas and gives you a lifelong friend (not to mention providing income for someone and it doesn't cost you much). Later on you can enjoy the freedom of traveling on your own! It provides encouragement to return again and again!

The best of all your videos. I could smell the fresh air, feel the cool breeze and sun on my face, and even felt dizzy when you walked over the foot bridges. I wanted to reach out to touch the goats and chickens and ask the lady if I could hold her baby for a minute. I just didn’t want it to end. Continue safe traveling 🧭

I have watched every second of these seven amazing trekking videos which are outstanding in every way. But then that is what we have come to expect from Gabriel! One thing that struck me is that some of those suspension bridges are not for the faint-hearted! I am also intrigued by the checkpoint in this last video- was it the actual Tibet border?

That checkpoint wasn't the actual border, but the border was only a few miles away. I don't think they would have let me go beyond that check point.
