We thank you and your whole family for all the sacrifices and pain you went through fighting for the truth! And of course Stella and Julian! We will always be obliged as human beings and as democratic citizens!

The treatment of Julian is why I condemn the US govt forever. You can't come back from that.

I expect Julian to some extent will be traumatized for life so certainly those that caused the trauma should not be quickly forgotten either. It's much I think as what Snowden said too though Edward sacrificed his comfortable life to warn people but it didn't make any improvement there is more surveillance and oppression now than a decade ago and people are helpless not everyone can just live like a monk without the internet and shun society completely to avoid being stalked and harassed either but every investigative journalist risks their career and life being ruined if they know and report something someone wealthier and more powerful would prefer they not. Julian and Snowden are examples of attempts to fight the system being futile.
