I shed a wee Scottish tear today. I am a couple of weeks away from my 65th birthday, and the penny finally dropped that in my wildest dreams, I will never ever be able to play guitar like this, BUT, the tear was just as much one of joy because a guy who can play guitar like that took the the time to share it with the likes of me, and in so doing, he has made me want to keep on trying, keep on learning, keep on wanting to be that good even though I know I never will be. God bless you.

Tommy Lindsay you CAN do it my friend...65 is the new 25! You may not become famous but you can certainly improve dramatically. Whenever I see a young guitar prodigy i always think “hey, it only took this kid half a decade to get that good..” Granted, our neuropathways might take longer to mylineate but you can still learn.. you CAN in fact teach an old dog new tricks!
