Its so much more than you can see watching the video. For those not sure about 5 energies - it can truly be a deeply spiritual and healing process that transforms you. you will dance and feel deep unity with the group other times you dance one on one and share love and compassion with a total stranger. sometimes we will go into the wilderness for a week and dance amongst the trees and mountains . You can learn so much about yourself - movement is life - & life is breath and rhythm.. 4 anyone.

I am in shock over the negative comments out there. TRY IT. Then, if you think it's worthy of the term "bullshit"... well I guess that's the way you think. Gabrielle died last year. She was an inspirational person. Quoting "Gabrielle Roth was one of Esalen’s most popular and enduring workshop leaders. As a young dancer in her twenties, she arrived at Esalen in the mid-Sixties and within a short time was invited by Fritz Perls to teach movement to his Gestalt Therapy groups. She has inspired a major movement that has helped and freed so many people.... Think, research before you comment. You risk looking foolish foolish making such negative comments about someone and something you clearly have limited knowledge of. Give it a try. Go for one day. free yourself. Live. Love.... laugh.

I am new to this. I have never heard of Gabrielle before. I am taking a course on healing with art. I found her video very helpful. I will explore more later when I have some more time.

I agree Daniel - its not really a DVD to be watched so KZbin doesn't do it justice - you need to get off the chair and join in for a half hour or more and then those who are being negative might just 'get it'. G.Roth brought some primal beats together in some great DVD's. Shared The Wave with my yoga students in a dance studio on Friday, the transition from their inhibited self at the beginning to the release and freedom they felt at the end surprised even me and I love 5 rhythms!

Western society are rediscovering the wisdom of peoples that maintained their spiritual connections better.. They are now adopting these methods to reconnect.. Don't begrudge them. Be happy that these methods of being were preserved and are now spreading : )

At first I just wanted to LOL...only at the thoughts of myself doing it though, but I actually see this as being extremely good way of building up our "energy healing" in and around our bodies... thank you for this! ♥

As a v young child, lucky to attend studio that did 'Free Dance' sessions (my mother was a trained actor). We had different colour silk loose tunics, mine Lilac. Later did ballet twice weekly, but didn't suit my over-pronated feet! Loved contemporary & now I love 5 rhythms. Thanks, Mum.

this is such a rip off of Bagwan aka Osho's teachings. I was doing this 30 years ago at his Ashram. It's brilliant, and something good to remember and practice. It's certainly not new ........................................

she hasn't created anything. she hasn't devised anything. i am in dissagreement with this and am upset as an expressive dancer. for questions please respond.
