Absolutely love you watercolor prep. It’s interesting to me that this artwork is so popular. I doodled like this in Elementary school. I am 71 years old. I doodled on my homework. My artwork was very different in school and I was made fun of. Now I am doing this type of artwork. I have taught the method to children on the spectrum. What they like, is I tell them there are no mistakes in creating the method of art. Thank you for the should concept. Wonderful.

Hi Kathleen ❤️🤗 I'm so happy you enjoyed watching this video and that so much about it connected with you! I celebrate diversity here, in all its forms, and especially in creativity! It's one of the best forms of expression. Thank you for all the lovely work you have done with children. It is meaningful and I'm sure they will not forget you 💕

Thank you for mentioning aging! I am going to be 64 in a couple months and I am not as steady painting. It can be frustrating, but I realize imperfection does make painting better. I am putting ME in my work!

YES! I love this!! That's exactly what we are doing ☺️ putting more of ourselves into our work and all of it is glorious! ❤️ My hands are steady on some days and not so much on others - it can be frustrating and at the same time, there really is something more organic and lovely about the way our marks come out. Thank you for making the time to connect with me on this. 💕

I found your channel after CeeCee gave you a shout out in response to your shout out to her. I enjoy your videos each week and have found we have some parallels besides loving to paint and watching CeeCee. I moved to Auburn Maine from West Bolton Vt almost 2 years ago. Loved my home in VT and now love my home here in ME. I used to have 20 acres of forest to hike and snowshoe in but now live near forests where I can still do that. And after all that recent snow, I have shoveled paths for my dogs that are maze like. Welcome to Maine fellow Vermonter and I look forward to your next video.

Well how awesome is that!? Hello and thank you for the warm welcome 🥰 I smiled reading your message as yes, we do share quite a bit in common. The world seems big at times and then other times, it's good to be reminded that it's really not all that big after all. The more we open up to others, the more we see how similar we are. ❤️ Thank you for watching and for reaching out to connect! I'm so happy you're enjoying Maine as well. Some of the nicest people I have ever met live here ☺️ And I'm glad to connect with yet another kind soul 🤗

Thank you for you. And your art. Both are lovely and now I'm hooked on your channel. Last night I couldn't go to sleep because of some bad news I got about a friend of mine. I got up and watched you create the painting and listened to you talk about your creative process for about a half hour. Then I went back to bed with my mind full of your art and your calming presence. I fell asleep within minutes and slept a full 7 hours. You were medicine for my troubled soul. 💖

Hi Lynn ❤️ I'm sorry you received bad news about your friend. 😔 I understand how difficult it can be to get to sleep after something stressful happens. I'm glad you were able to find enough calm and relaxation to bring you a good night of sleep after watching my video. Sleep is so important, especially to help us through challenges. I'm also glad to see that you were able to check with yourself to see what could be helpful for you at that time and that you made room to offer yourself something that could help. Thank you for making the time to connect with me. I'm sending you lots of love and a great big hug ❤️🤗

The beauty of your art is a reflection of you, friend. First of all, thank you for sharing those images of Maine in January-they look magical. You and your hubby look happy-and that makes me happy. Second, you are such a great teacher. Many artists post themselves painting-so few bother to explain their thought process. But you do. Your intuitive painting is beautiful, intuitive, and within anyone’s reach-if we’re brave enough. Thank you for always sharing. Giving. You are a kind soul. And you can expect lots of zen coming your way. Truly. Now, on to the rest of the video.

I'm recovering from shoulder surgery and have stumbled across your videos. Thank you for helping me find some peace and focus through this difficult process. I am a quilter, also from Maine! I've got a 6-10 month recover so quilting is out of the question for a long time. I am left handed which is the side my surgery is on so I cannot use it. Last year I discovered Intense Watercolor Pencils and have been using them to enhance my art quilts. Finding your videos, I've created a Neurographic watercolor piece using the Intense. I've learned a lot from your videos.... especially relaxation. Since I'm trying to paint with my right hand, thank goodness there are few rules to follow and I do not have to be perfect. It's challenging to say the least, but I am loving it! Thanks so much for your videos! Elisabeth

Thank you so much for making the time to reach out and connect with me, Elisabeth ❤️🤗 I am inspired by your ability to work through this difficult time by finding ways to continue being creative with your non dominant hand! That is impressive and something tells me you are learning a lot about your ability to overcome these challenges in your life. I can only imagine just how much more your quilts will be beautiful once your shoulder is fully healed and you can return to quilting with all the new ideas and skills you will have developed during this time. You are reminding me that where there is a will, there is a way 💕 Letting go of perfection has helped my heal in so many ways - yay for us embracing the beauty of the perfect imperfections in our daily creativity ☺️ I see horses on your profile picture ❤️ They too are such an inspiration to me - such beautiful and empathic beings they are. 🥰

Absolutely gorgeous universe captured within the painting. It took me on a journey, travelling from grass into water, which collected me into its waves to sky and fluffy clouds, but those clouds became part of connecting starts in galaxy that floated independently but when continued to look deeper they are all connected and when you turned it upside down it was like a lady with one big sun connected all of it and walking away into space. Just mesmerising. Thank you 🙏

Amuse toi bien 🤗

I absolutely love these paintings you do. I’m curious if you have a video showing all the tools you use to make them? I heard you say the type on a few of them, but I’m not sure exactly what they are. I would love to see them. Thank you. I’m looking forward to watching more videos.

Thank you for your kind words ❤️☺️ I actually don't have videos like this, but in every video I make, I include a list of the products and tools I used to create my painting. You can find this in the video description by clicking on "show more". Sometimes I do forget to mention something and if this happens, please don't hesitate to reach out to me and ask. I hope this helps! Thank you for watching 🤗

@gabrielleannacormierart Жыл бұрын
Aww 💕☺️ You just brought a big smile to my face!! Thank you so much for your kind words! The mop brush I used in this painting is a LG ZEN Royal & Langnickel (Z83WR). It is similar to the one in this set:amzn.to/3NpRv08, but a little big bigger. I bought mine at Micheal's. I hope this helps! ☺️🎨

Thank you for sharing your process and wonderful thoughts! I really like what you said about making an abstract representation of the universe! I find myself getting so stuck in trying to draw more realistically when I’m not fond of all the fiddle details necessary in making realistic artwork. But making abstract representations of things totally appeals to me!
@gabrielleannacormierart Жыл бұрын
Hi Jay ☺️ I totally get what you’re saying! Abstract work is so much more freeing! Realism is such an exercise in patience and attention to detail. Though it can be nice to work in this way, it is also very liberating to approach creativity in a much more imaginative way. Thank you for your kind words and for making the time to watch and to connect! Happy creating 🎨🤗

Love this! But which was the pen for the fine lines you mentioned? Is that the Zig? What size, please?
@gabrielleannacormierart Жыл бұрын
Hi Deborah ❤️☺️ Thank you so much for your kindness! My favorite fine line pen is this one: amzn.to/3JaScIe. The Zig marker is a dual tip marker that I also like to use quite a bit, but it creates much thicker lines. The Sharpie Roller has a 0.5 tip and I love to use it too. (You can buy this one in single units at Michael's.)

@@gabrielleannacormierart the salt... After adding it will it dissolve? I want to try it but wasn't sure if I can draw over this section.
@gabrielleannacormierartАй бұрын
@@KC-fl1ek Usually, some of the salt might dissolve, but most of it will stay on the surface of the painting and will need to be removed before continuing with your drawing or painting process. I find that an old plastic card does a really good job of removing the salt once the surface is completely dry. I hope this helps ☺
