Yes, it is the man wholl defeat Rodtang, but Rodtang doesnt wanna fight him because he wants to see Thai Champions as he said, theyll have to fight eventually. Ducking Superlek, He pulled out last time they were supposed to. The kick pad is made by Yokkao btw

muay thai fighters are snipers when it comes to punching (very powerful, fast, and precise , single punches or small combinations of punches followed with something). but when they smell blood they can destroy you with long combos changing levels and everything, and the reason for this is that muay thai has stand up grappling, so if you are in range to punch you are also in range to clinch. just like in mma you can't get in the pocket throwing punches like a duch kick boxer because they will take you down. so that's why muay thai's sniper mindset is ideal for mma. or any other combat sport with grapling. i train sanda and we have that sniper mentality as well.

The unfortunate part for me is that there seems to be way more politics than there should be in One. They no longer allow Yokkao to show their logo even though it was fine when Rodtang wore Yokkao. Rodtang defending the Muay Thai belt against random opponents makes no sense when Superlek won the GP and continues to crush people in the division more impressively than rodtang has

​@@miranaqqqq5343no, their footwork is thai boxing, the rhythm the bounce everything, thai fighters used this footwork before kickboxing was created the japanese just copied it. watch the fight between thai boxers vs karatekas in the 60's, the thai were lighter on their feet than the kyokushin guys. all the stances and footwork you see in modern kickboxing come from muay thai, kickboxing is just a cheap copy of thaiboxing

There is a video of Rodtang doing loose sparring with Superlek on the Yokkao channel. And in my opinion Rodtang was way ahead. I don't think that Superlek would win against him. But of course, anything could happen.

Superlek is the most well rounded fighter in Flyweight, Panpayak being the only one who could compete. Also has the best defemce in Flyweight. He also beat Panpayak twice under ONE rules who is SO MUCH better than Rodtang.

@@user-eb2kv7bg4t generally I do think thai fighters have poorer boxing yes. Though ofcourse there are exceptions, and I'm not saying all as some stylistically will like boxing. Generally I feel they don't focus on body mechanics for power with boxing, and their boxing defense is generally not as tight as say western or K1 fighters. There are top Thai fighters getting hurt at lumpinee one shows by boxing.
