The Seaside episode with the hospital really is a good representation towards whenever someone close is in the hospital, especially for something serious. It is easy to get lost down long hallways and winding passages as the mind is distracted, and it becomes easy to imagine the worst around you. Add to that the bureaucracy involved with it all (collecting/signing proper forms) and the game provides something that which, while clearly more geared towards horror, feels very prevalent.

The end of that playthough had a really stressful bit where a monster was on it's way to perma-kill you, and you had to hide in the rooms with blood-stained hand prints. That was also the first episode of that game that you completed without any characters dying!

I’ve been struggling with lupus for three years, and my favorite thing to do during a flare or sick day is relax to Evelien’s voice. Even the horror games. So, I was really interested in this because I was wondering if it was related to the little side mission in Control about the fridge (Guard Duty I think it was?) where the guy had been staring at the fridge for a whole day and no one was there to take him off his shift. The mission in here is exactly the same, and it has the whole magnet thing like in the story in Control, so I'm wondering if they are some of the same developers and this may be a story on how the red fridge began. The office one was really suspenseful for me.

I'm so invested in this! You have to finish this game. :) It has very Silent Hill vibes, maybe that's why it felt familiar to you. I remember the demo for this game. I don't remember if it was Markiplier, Jacksepticeye or Manlybadasshero who played it but someone did. I’ve watched this series a few times now. Part 1 & 2 and the last time I was watching this I fell asleep and ended up dreaming about the fridge in the middle of an endless pitch black space and a massive version of the little girls doll was slumped up against it, singing the song on loop and then when I opened the fridge door, the girl was inside it all frozen. I wasn’t scared though because I dreamt it all accurate to the game graphics so I realised in my sleep what I was dreaming about and suddenly managed to access my audio input data and could hear Gab’s playing so yeah 😂 THE FRIDGE IS RED!
