Funny thing, about psychemon. there is a theory going around the internet that the reason psychemon looks the way he does is because he was a gabumon that was poisoned by a phascomon. That would mean the digevolution to astamon is in fact a exemple of the gabumon species ability to absorb other digimons data to mess with its own digevolution. there is in fact evidence of all that.

I don't necessarily think they'd be able to Jogress. They may look like WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon (somewhat), but they _aren't_ variants of them, they're forms of specifically Agumon and Gabumon.

They should keep the name Psyche for the counterpart digimon of Pidmon to follow the mythology of Cupid and Psyche. I don't know why they use this name for Gabumon's variant instead.
