I honestly blame 2 things mostly for the hate against both. Cost-sunk fallacy, and tribalism💯 I mean I play WuWa and yeah I dropped ZZZ but not because it's a bad game rather a matter of taste in the games aesthetics(plus I can only afford to invest in one gacha rn so I had to prioritize). But you don't see me bashing ZZZ constantly why should I put that much mental energy criticizing something Im not interested in playing. And at the same time this is why I'll criticize WuWa when it's legitimate because I care about the game. Not all criticism is an attack. And vice versa not all attacks are actually constructive criticism. Also I wanna say most of its current praise is as well deserved as some of its criticism. The way developers respond to the community is absolutely amazing compared to most in the space, and same with ZZZ. These two games both have done an incredible job responding to their player base and that should be considered when criticizing.💯

Nitpick by Fob about the click bait is wild, who cares Mr pokke, Teccy, even he himself does it. People not being able to do max MOC and such gamemodes does not mean the game is harder to play, it means you didn't pull for the most recent units. Correct me if I am wrong but beating the tower with 4 star units is almost impossible if not impossible with all the buffs they did on it. Complaining about the time limit is so dumb because its supposed to be a dps check as well as skill check. People are clearing it with one character such as Chixia or Danjin so it cannot be a game issue its an you issue. Guy in top middle has a lot of bad points 1 hr into the vod, its not 10% better since its 1/3 of the tower, and then again its not that other two are banner either cuz one is other one is something else. You can login into the game and check it. Current banner is Camellya and her part is the left tower with Havoc damage while the right tower is Fusion damage. And even THEN there is 3 possible havoc DPS two if you do not include her which are both very very good, and the tower buff is buffing them BOTH, not as much as Camellya but a considerable amount in which players can clear it with ease. So if you have a decently built Rover you could have skipped Camellya if you wanted to. What you should have done is mention the new gamemode Pincer Maneuver Warriors which is limited like GI Abyss but has the HSR PF mechanic of constantly spawning enemies, that gamemode is first off limited, time limited, you have to have a basic attack focused character to clear it easier and you cannot reuse same character but have to place one fully built team on one side and another on the other side, its a downgrade of current TOA. It doesn't matter how bad gachas are, its a game that sells you pixels and pictures for money, they are all bad, its gambling, who would have guessed. They are predatory but all game are today. Not even single player games are what they used to be and WOW over here is selling a 90$ mount in game. I disagree pulls are located in the endgame modes, as a F2P, cannot say all but I bet like 80-90% people are trying to clear it just because of that. HSR is a very good game that is pulled back by the company that makes it. Hoyoverse has this crippling addiction of forcing players to listen to hours and hours of bs that could have been placed as a 1-2hrs story. No, Pokke keeps pushing this "The story shouldn't be skipped because they want you to engaged to the characters, which is not needed for it. If you like the character you will be interested in the story. I do not care about Clara and her little robot and I shouldn't have to, its bad design and not consumer friendly. Nah Pokke you be riding gacha story giving it a 8/10 while saying you haven't seen a good one. 1:08:25 HOLY CAUGHT, anyway proves my point, I get being a CC and all but at this point Pokke is equivalent to IGN. Fob has a point but again what is ZZZ story about Proxy the ultimate hacker, not that much different TBH, and if not the ultimate hacker its the ultimate nothing burger at least from what i've seen in 1.0-1.2 If WUWA had the same sht as Hoyo games that stories and side quests are not skippable I would have quit in an instant. Yeah Fob you don't need the character, why don't you use the bird huh fob? fly with the bird cmon bro, why are you running up the mountain with Xilonen use the dinosaur Fob. I came back to genshin just for Natlan having some hope its gonna be a little bit more dark and at least a better expirience with all the dinos, just to get kick in the sack. That is no nation of war, Monsdat was more in war then Natlan, Inazuma was THE WAR. And then came natlan which was for the first few updates going around with dinos. Then one patch was war and we are back to happy go lucky again. No characters are equipped for war. Why are we using rollerblades and paint to fight. Why is fire archon that is supposed to be the strongest have a bike... THAT CAN GLIDE. Chasca was the best out of them all because she actually had a weapon. It looks less in war then WuWa Rinascita trailer which is supposed to be the most peacful place in WuWa. And if HSR ruins Greece mythology just like that, ay... No, no HSR does have characters that help moving around the map, such as Rappa, Firefly and Fei xiao. And they are done right. Again Fob play it. Try natlan without the limited characters especially new zones, without a single natlan character climbing that mountain was worse then 40% of genshin story. When it comes to dev teams of HSR and WuWa, they are both great. Wuwa looks better just because at the release it was pretty rough and now they are making it better over all, while HSR didn't have that much of a rough start, but continued adding good qol. If you just checkout any of the Wuwa community that post TOA clear, There are still crazy Danjin main solo entire TOA. There are some rare post on some dude using only Aalto solo TOA also. So yes you can absolutely clear TOA without limited characters. It does take way more skill and effort obviously

Not to long ago I temporarily went back to genshin just to get a general feel of what the game feels like after almost a year of not playing it. I tried exploring natlan and building newly released characters, trying exploration mechanics, etc. I kid you not, the amount of times i was just walking around and i got hit with a 7 minutes long (at max click spam) unskipable, uninteresting and completely useless word salad dialogue was way more than it should have been (for hoyo bots, that would be 0). One time i even had an npc run to me across an entire camp site just to give me a commission i could not decline. If I wasn't watching something else on my second monitor I would've logged out right then and there.

This right here is what i experienced on going to Natlan to get chasca's ascension materials(Got her on guarantee, on 80 pity) and i stopped doing main quests after liyue(dropped the game). My god it was hell to continuously click that mouse button or f key to skip those bloat dialogs, i was getting randomnly teleported to some saurian area and had to do a monologue with paimon(why even have a MC when she can explain us the same thing 50 times). Ahh the canyons, their is not a single hole in that goddamn canyon need to walk for 10 mins to reach the other side. I was done with all this bs after seeing those artifact roles in chasca's artifact domains. Give me a skip button and remove stamina while climbing those mountains and i will play those dialogue bloated quests.

ToA isnt even bad. Its just ONE time-based endgame mode. Someone people might even like it. ToA is fine as it is, Kuro just needs to add more endgame modes, which they are. Also if ToA didnt have a timer, where would the challenge be? You could play like ass and just heal for an hour until you win. You'd have make the enemies hit like hologram bosses without a timer... in which case just go do holograms. Finally, timers are not an evil gacha invention. Every MMO raid boss has enrage timers. Timers are a mechanic in most games to ensure you actually progressed to the endgame and reward you for it. If you build the characters, if you grind the gear, if you getgud, then you'll clear ToA. What's evil about that???

raid bosses in mmos dont have their health increased every time the damage ceiling of characters increase. raid bosses also have mechanics the players must interract with, while in gachas its just deal enough dmg to clear within the time limit.

I think because Genshin's spiral abyss is bad, so naturally one will think WuWa's ToA will generally be bad as well due to how similar they are. Though personally it isn't as bad as genshin as the hp isn't bloated and having immunity frames for certain characters

A good chunk of Wuthering Waves community is the former Genshin players and they had a bad time with it. They end up praising WuWa a bit too much because it doesn't have some problems that Genshin has, the biggest one being abyssmal mobility in exploration, skip button and miserable rng in weapon banner. I didn't want to keep watching yesterday because of Pokke and Fob. Pokke's gonna give all Hyv stories 7-9/10 and say he haven't seen a good one. Also, his twitch chat is straight up miserable to watch, so anyone should know what they are getting into. I saw Fob saying Changli and Jinhsi play the same the other day, but his basis is that they both need you to push elemental skill button and do basic attacks. And, then lush out at his chat because they disagree. Why'd you stream without taking meds.

Yeah, Fob only took half the dosage this time. 1:25:20 Why'd he compare the limited mobility of Natlan's 5* Characters outside Natlan to the diving in Fontaine? The ones you have to pay for vs the one you get access for free? The point was that Genshin has it worse. Genshin has been doing it for years" doesn't mean shit. And, those are the things provided with WuWa's free mobility gadgets and yet, their potency is region specific? Say no more. I've only tuned in to Jenezard's stream once or twice before, but he's only here to duke it out against Saintontas. Fob only managed to save some face because this guy was dead set on Saintontas. Pokke just backed down on both skip button and HP inflation because everyone except Fob was pressing it against him. And, all he did was acting like a kid who's scared of the possibility that his mom's gonna scold him because he just accidentlally broke something in the house. Saintontas on the other hand just chose to triple down despite the 1 v 3. Tectone was simply the mediator this time.

Cuz they take out engagement from dodging boss atk pattern and make it a dps check? But don't you need a dps check to test charecters after you finish building them ? To enjoy boss atk patterns and the gane combat mechanics in depth, play hologram... I feel people who complain about toA have bias from experience in other ganes and also don't play holograms.....
