The pyro crab's shield actually has a "height" that makes Characters like: Mona, Kokomi, and Xingqui have a really easy time breaking the shield of the pyro crab. Xingqiu's blades shoot out really high up making it able to hit the pyro crabs horns, unlike yelan's Ult which despite spawning 1 right above your head actually aims at its body more than its horns. This results in yelan having a hard time hitting its horn. "Oh but her E can hit the horn cause it explodes hydro right?" Well, sadly no... she only hits the crabs body which makes it really awkward to use her against the crab, xingqiu Hits it because his E hits twice and one of them hits upwards which allows him to hit the shield. Kokomi and mona have really big application range with mona's charged and E, while Kokomi's E can just sit on top if it and break the horn cause of how long it lasts. This also makes Neuvillette pretty good against the crab actually cause you can just aim at the horn😅

Believe it or not.... Neuvillete won't benefit from furina as much as he can (at c6) mainly because he kills everything so fast. By the time you get furina's max dmg bonus, everything will be dead. You'd probably have like 45% dmg bonus max at c6 even tho it goes up to 75%

Neuvilette can max out the damage bonus from Furina’s burst by himself with just one charged attack so he can take full advantage of it for the whole duration without much trouble.

As a c6 Yelan haver I can say she's definitely a sub DPS and main DPS is not a thing. Just 5 NA with infusion that takes less than 3s to shot aren't enough to be considered a main DPS and staying on field doing physical NA just to proc her burst makes no sense. She's completely designed to do dmg off field while supporting other characters with buffs and hydro aura, you just use her E and c6 shots between rotations. If you guys say that's enough to be considered a main DPS then every sub DPS like Nahida, Xianling or Fischl to name a few can be considered main DPS as well.

Yep, my Raiden Yae team have much higher dps than my Wanderer team, but since Wanderer setup is so fast he consistently clear faster than my higher dps teams. Abyss 12 triple kenki only take 7 seconds whith good grouping RNG on Wanderer team while setup along would take more than 6 seconds for many other teams.

Furina and Neuvillette would be cracked. They also have matching aesthetics. I like Wriothesley but he has no place in my Neuvi x Furina team. So I didn't pull. Wish HyV would make more content where you need multiple teams. @@CryomancerMK1 honestly it kinda does, the 20% crit rate on frozen enemies is quite valuable, people nowadays have to sacrifice more crit dmg to build more crit rate on ayaka because hoyo is countering freeze. that 20% crit rate could be turn into 40% crit dmg or even atk% which will significantly boost her dmg output on freezable enemies. she used to getaway with 20% crit rate and no higher than 30%, now you kinda have to build her around 50% crit rate for her dmg to be stable

The shield of that crab is on top of its shell a.k.a its horn like things. Doing elemental reaction (surprisingly electro can take down its shield too) aiming it to its two horns (pyro canon?) makes it easier to take down its shield. Tip:- if you have difficulty in aiming for the horn , atk from his front side when he sits/lays down to launch pyro atks, this automatically leads your aim to its pyro shield. (I have tried this with Raiden's burst and yelans burst ..it works well .. @@mordakie3805 Honestly, he's the most fun character I've played in Genshin. You shield him up, load up the buffs, then zoom around blasting mobs with an OP auto-firing railgun. Lining up the hydro beam to hit multiple mobs is very entertaining.

You've probably alr been told, but just in case: the pyro sheild on the crab is the red thing on its shell, because Yelan kept autotargetting the body, whilst the breakthrough barbs aoe dmg reached the hitbox (i think) Yelan's burst attacks can't reach the sheild. Neuvillette's hydro beam is so large, it reached the crab's sheild hitbox by accident (You also did aim up with Neuv's CA so yeah) hope it hepled :)

i think C6 Yelan still have the Highest Frontload Damage but her damage tied to her Burst, after she shoot all of her C6 shots, her overall damage decreased by a lot. unlike Yelan, Wriothesley that can work without his burst and have kinda stable damage. Neuvillette is just straight up Monster

Which is good for c6 yelan. Serve as she should be, a support sub dps with short window, you now can swap to your main dps after that if there is still enemies alive.

Crab shield is the little volcano horns I believe. So if it doesn't hit those it doesn't reduce the shield. Thus Yelan's Q activation hits it, but not combo attacks after.

I suspected that Neuvillette is now the strongest main DPS in the game and this showcase kinda proved that. A big thing is that Neuvillette is very powerful even at C0 (although C1 is a significant upgrade) while Yelan needs C6 to even be a main DPS and Wriothesley seems to get a large bump in power from his C6 as he is much less impressive at lower constellation levels. It was nice seeing a DPS showcase again after so long.

No contest at this point, Wriothesley smokes them both. Ayaka is close but at C6R5 and both using Shenhe also @ C6 is no contest. Wriothesley is the new king of cryo dps. Ganyu is sitting on the bench at this point, but I still love her. =)

@@Coppersulfate81 We deserve it? What? I don't even want it. Powercreep isn't good just because its slow. And just saying, Nahida was better than "ok". Power creep has not been absent for 2 years. Its just been slow. And they don't base their characters off of their strength in the lore at all and if they did, it wouldn't make it a better game. The traveler is strong in the lore but not in the game. And Hu Tao, Ayaka, Alhaitham, etc have no business comparing with an archon if we go by lore. Raiden should be doing 50x their damage at minimum if we did things like that. There would be no concept of game balance at all because life isn't balanced and Genshin's world is no exception to that.

Masanori - triple hydro also. Childe boss run - literally mono hydro)) Perhaps this would not change the result much, but it would give fair competition conditions!

I think Neuvillete is lore accurate strong. If he gets his hands on the Hydro Gnosis (according to some theory Crafters are saying will happen) he will become the strongest known entity in the game, apart from Celestia beings. I have almost 400 wishes for Furina, and I'm considering not going for constellations to start saving for Neuvillete (yes I skipped him because I was saving for Furina since the rerun of Nahida and I didn't think his lore would be so interesting).

Neuv is just insane. He has just everything needed in this game. No wonder he is the BEST dps in the entire game. NOT only bcus of dmg, ofc. His dmg is still comparable to other 5* dps in the game, or maybe even lower bcus his dmg ceiling is lower in whale investment (cant use bennet, no one-hit nuke, etc.) but mhy compromise it with high dmg floor so lower investment is already very good. Aside from that, he has heals (even tho not perfect) and ease of use. hes just sooo much easy to use. u literally just hold one button 😂😂😂. And being hydro makes him so versatile. He has so much team comp that can use him or can subtsitute other char in a team. Hes just insane mann, i WILL pull him in his rerun, but gotta skip him for now bcus i want to get wrio first
