Learning Irish with you seems to be a good way of avoiding depression during the current round of lockdowns. Who knew?

My weird way of remembering will be that 'eat' is 'debry' in Cornish and 'learn' is 'desky'. That might be a coincidence, but Cornish also has similar sentence structure, which isn't.

Nice explanation. Like the way you pronounce /r/ in English.

Lovely videos as always, as an American finding Irish resources can be tough so I appreciate these videos. Ever though of doing a video on irish mythology and the pronunciation of the gods/demigods and places?

To be honest I really know nothing about that 🤣 but if you would like to know how to pronounce certain gods let me know 😊

Does the d' standing for ''do'' undergo palatalization when it precedes a slender vowel?
@jevgenijzintchenko55674 жыл бұрын
Yes, it does. The "d" in "d'ith" is slender and the "d" in "d'ól" is broad, for instance.

Dia duit , Conas ata tu? Cen t-ainm ata ort? I have been trying to follow you for about two weeks but something doesn't seem to be working. I am trying again. Where in Ireland are you living at the moment? COVID cancelled my trip in June. I am planning on spending most of my time in Muenster and Galway. I want to see Skellig Michael and spend time in the Gaeltacht. Forty years ago, I bought the Buntus Cainte books but did not get the cassettes so it was useless. Slan
