Unfortunately, Gaggia degraded the quality of the portafilter for the Gaggia Carezza Deluxe to cut the costs of manufacturing it. It used be sold with Aluminum portafilter. It doesn't come with aluminum portafilter anymore. The lower half of the portafilter filter is made of cheap plastic. I purchased the machine on the bases of the details and the description in this video. So I assumed that the portafilter would be made of aluminum but I found half of it made of cheap plastic. It very disappointing. This video should be removed from the channel along with all the other videos showing the machine with the aluminum portafilter. Such videos are misleading to the customers.

Hi. The video is supposed to be instructions about how to use the machine, and not about the presentations wit exercise. One person can only is needed to talk about this Gaggia machine ! On top of that they keep interrupting each other, speak too fast, rendering the "show" all about them !!! The manual for this machine is just poorly written, that's why I turned to watch a video... But...

Good narrative but not enough demo/zooming in on the how-to. Was this a Gaggia coffee machines interview or an instruction video...? Please see this guys videos: FRAD COFFEE, so much better demos all but for his sound issues. That is the way way how to demo should be done. The stars of the show are the machines and yet they are far away, cannot see what is being done... sorry runt over irritated new Gaggia owner.

Talking much too fast and not clearly enough. Why is the portafilter made of aluminum? SO unhealthy. I don't want to drink coffee which has come through that metal! Why is it NOT made from STAINLESS STEEL??? I don't want plastic either.

Hi. I bought recently Gaggia Carezza Deluxe and no matter what i do and how many times i flush before brew, out comes overheated water and burns the coffee. When i flush without a portafilter, i se a burst of steamy water coming out. Is this normal? Help!

Go to Whole Latte Love on this machine. This guy obviously had waaay to many practice shots to understand. Key points he speeds through like he is tripping out.

Can you convert the portafilter to hold a non pressurized basket?

The basket is not pressurised already. But the portafilter is pressurised. If you want non pressurised coffe, you need to change the portafilter.
