I ran a few tests with the F15I before and after the nerf, and from 0 to Mach 2 it's only around 15-20 seconds slower. This means it's still around 30-45 seconds faster than the F15C to Mach 2, and about a minute and a half faster than the SU27SM. It gets quite noticeable afterwards in how quick it gets to Mach 2.5. However it's still somehow managing to nearly sustain 9Gs without much energy bleed once at those high speeds. Bottom line is that it's gone from being the best jet for Air RB by a significant margin, to being.... still the best jet for Air RB by a significant margin. It's so Flankover :(

Like I said, the 15e(don't have the I) in a normal match will rarely reach Mach 2. Though i do agree it's gone from the best jet to.... the best jet. All in saying is there is a VERY noticeable difference

Not that changing a planes FM days after the update is anything new, nor are new bugs. But when are we going to hold the devs accountable to release a polished product, without being delayed 3-4 weeks just to still need FM changes and bugs in the game. Like Seek said, they seem to use the information gained from the dev server very inefficiently, and the changes dont always come before the update comes, which makes absolutely no sense.

The problem is it just won't do what it's supposed to be able to. It can't even get close to its supposed top speed. With an empty load out and low fuel it will barely break 1600mph the most I've seen is 1604mph. I have no problem with nerfing it but when you make it slower change the status card because it's just lying when it's listed at 1668. Same as the F15c.

Bruh I brought a tailsman for F15I last day and finished stock grind in 3 or 4 hours. Honestly it was really much op before nerfed, you can just flew to a much much higher alt and speed when the other planes are still climbing. But in GRB, western jets are really unplayable after the nerf on their RWRs, USSR with pantsir and su34 just could smash the top tier GRB, and they never get a huge nerf

Ive lost hope in Top tier Air where playing American Jets for me is like comparing a 2015 Mustang to a 1999 SAAB for Russia. Sure its a car that works the same but the umph just ain't there with the modern tech aswell. Im more concerned about ground battles rn, after this patch when playing the SU27SM in ground with a CAS loudaout, I cannot use anything at all, as in the button for firing missiles/flares/chaff/locking TV missiles or Bombs does not work at all but in Air RB it does work fully even in Test it works however it does not work at all in Ground battles for somereason. First I thought it was a Chinese hacker boy but now trying it out on 5 different games without being able to use it I am very certain that this is a game issue. My buttons have not been reset nor have they been changed they are exactly the same as I've had for over half a year now and it still don't wanna work at all... Its very frustrating seeing a J10A and trying to fire missiles at him with a full on 2 minute chase of me right behind him spamming my missile fire button but nothing happens which is just stupid. If you don't believe me I can send proof cuz this is just wack....

It was nerfed on the dev server though. It was originally going to have the Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-220s. American mains complained hard enough about the F-15E having weaker engines that they changed them to the F100-PW-229s. I wonder why they were gonna give it weaker engines to begin with? 🤔

Same of what we just got. Thrust curve needs to be tweaked at high speeds, and the plane needs to experience more drag when pulling full elevator at such high speed. Not by much more, but still some to go.
