Calling the tornado the worst premium in the game hurt my soul to the core. it is an amazing bomb sled unless they nerfed it since the last time i played it a few months ago and you get style points since its one of the best looking planes. you can usuall get to the bases first and just bomb 2 bases fire off your 2 missles and go for ground targets since its cannons are very strong, albeit inconsistent on accuracy but if it does it i one tap people all the time with the cannon lol. its pretty solid if you suck at dog fighting. it does suck for cas though. no smart bombs and a terrible flight model makes it reall hard to dodge top tier aa and get the dumb bombs on target when flying fast and low.

You are slow, because the automatic wing sweep is broken since they added the first Su-22M3 to the game. They just copy pasted the FM to all Su-22. You have to sweep your wings manually yourself. In dogfight, you will outturn F-14 and outrate even a Mirage if you unsweep your wings and keep around 650-750kmh (yes I won dogfights consistently). You can even dance with the F-5C. It´s even better in SB. Su-22M4 is a better plane than Mig-21BIS if you know what you are doing. Would I buy it though? Nope. Not gonna support overpriced premium + I already have two Su-22 spaded in the TT. Mig 23MLA with talisman is a better grinder anyway.

The R13 missiles are great for the mig21, it’s nice to have them for rear aspect tailing shots, since they have a generous boost to range and countermeasure resistance compared to R60M

It's not just the ARH missiles being unable to track, it's also the fact that enemies won't be able to detect you with their TWS in the first place. But once they are close and you're spotted, you're a sitting duck...

I have american, russian, italian, german, sweeden top tier fighter jets, but if currently 1 nation is stronger then i dont cry. The top speed of F15E 2.5 Mach, it taken to reach 30-40 km distance at 11 km altitude to reach it with no Cft fuel tank, this was realistic. After the nerf it taken 50 km dist to reach 2.1 Match with no Cft Fuel tank, this is not realistic.

I think the next big jump in planes tech will be F/A18C, early Eurofighter, early Rafale, Su-30SM. That would be a relatively balanced update. The problem will mostly be what missile do they all comes with. Meteors might be too much unless they nerf them to hell. More advanced IR would be a huge pain to deal with. TY90 is currently impossible to decoy with the double IRCCM system and it's mounted on a helicopter, I really not want to deal with that on Air RB. Undodgeable missiles aren't fun to fight with at all. I'd honestly wouldn't mind if they kept the current Aim120A/B and equivalent and just gave 77-1 to Russia to equalize a bit. Either that or give better drag value to the R-77 and better FM to the planes carrying them.

You know one of the reasons why I like War Thunder is all the tech trees and they stay pretty true to the technology advancements of the era that you're playing in so I definitely feel like Germany should be a lot better on the prop side then the jet side just cuz that's where their technology was was in props era cuz good thing they lost the war and also one of the things in real life you lose the war that's the end of your tech for a while

I want to go back to WT, Ive got most of the top tier tech trees for aircrafts but i quit war thunder one year ago, finished my US line with F-14B and I am just wondering is there any good changes for the F-14 ? I quit WT mostly for DCS but i feel like i might go back again grind my 6k+ hours in WT legacy :D
