He was run over and killed on purpose by a student at Texas Tech University as he was walking home from kindergarten with his father Joseph T Medford. Joseph T Medford and I wrote the song for our son. His sister Ciscilia Medford also heled write the tribute. She took care of her nephew while his father attended class.
