@@GDCDGC Its insanely great, has clarity and definition, harmonic also sounds loud and clear. 100% periphery sound lol. you can coil split the pickup for extra flexibility. the body is not to heavy, ring very well and the tuning its quite stable even though it doesnt have locking tunner.
@brobrimski45324 жыл бұрын
DGC of course, i think seymour duncan is a great pickup and quite versatile. You can use clean or split the coil and it’s still sound great. I try dream theater and sevenfold song and it souns good as well. But keep in mind that this is 27.5 scale. So that extra scale needs to getting used to.

Just a quick thought. With the 26.5 neck and the .64 gauge B string could you tune the B down to F without it getting to flappy?
@roryt19853 жыл бұрын
F may need like a .68 maybe ? From reading a few interviews with Mark regarding this guitar it’s built for drop G#\Ab with the .64 gauge.

You need more than 64 for Drop A tuning...I already tried it with my 26.5 inch scale guitar, and the A string is going sharp because 64 is not enough...I doubt this guitar can do G# with a 64

Riley IoAcura Gotoh makes great ones, they are my go to's...as well as MannMade, and PRS themselves make a direct locking tuners replacement. None of these require new holes. I've seen people use hipshots a lot but I've never tried em so idk about the holes. Same with sperzel, but I think the gotohs are the best. They bring the string closer to the headstock compared to stock, looks a lot cleaner imo

Mark Holcomb doesn't deserve a signature after what he did to Yvette Young. Manipulation and overall moral shittiness should not be rewarded.
@aideedsodikromo44134 жыл бұрын
What did he do??
@blntwzrd4 жыл бұрын
Honestly I think he definitely deserves it. It was definitely 100% a shitty move on his part as far as that situation goes...but he still absolutely rips on guitar and has worked his ass off with Paul to get a well spec'd affordable signature model out to the masses. No reason to punish the people that buy his signature model for his personal life actions. His SE models have no business being that affordable for what they are, and I'm beyond stoked that there's an affordable 25.5" and 26.5" scale PRS because of him. With an ebony fingerboard and signature pickups?? Absolutely insane. I'm in no way trying to cover for his actions at all just so you know, I think it's super fucked up what he did...just looking out for all the people that buy his signature guitar as their primary workhorse instrument. If you separate the art from the artist, and just listen to his body of work, it's clear that he deserves it. All that said, I think if sales did dip and they got discontinued due to his actions, I wouldn't be surprised. The only person he could blame is himself.
