I also assumed that would be like death wearing all those layers in the Florida heat. Hope Star cruiser is well air conditioned but I wouldn't be able to wear that during the trip to Galaxy's Edge.

The tunic itself (not sleeves) is a loosely woven cotton/linen so it's very breathable and shouldn't be too hot on Batuu.

The training tunic is more of a woven material vs the Galaxy's Edge tunic which is more knit. Think of dress shirt vs polo shirt. Also the look is more tapered so that's why it's a little more fitted in the waist. I liked the final look with the black belt and Kylo hood.

If you do black sash I’d do a black undershirt under tunic. With Kylo hood it looks good too

I also liked the Lightsaber instructor outfit the best. You wear it well. I agree that the tan tunic mid sash looked odd with the navy blue, but I wonder if you changed the brown shirt, you were wearing, to a tan one to match the sash. Then added the brown belt and Jedi robe. I wonder if that would work.

fashion designer here! enjoying these videos! Those "mickey head" clasps are standard hooks and eyes. You'll see them on any girl's dress or bra even!! They are that shape so they can be sewn on by hand. but lucky for Disney, they do look a little Mickey-ish. (I would worry they would come undone when you wear them all day or do vigorous activity like Saber Training?!). The other clasps are skirt or trouser hooks, used on waistbands so these clasps are not unique to Disney. Also, I think the polyester lining on your Bail Organa outfit will make it VERY warm and unbreathable, it's really a shame you didn't get silk lining for the price you paid! :) polyester = hot and non-breathable, natural fibres like cotton + silk = fresh and breathable!

I really like the blue belt it came with plus the added belt on top, looks really nice. I wish Disney would've kept the same stretchy material- would definitely be more comfy when doing light saber training not to mention the blue linen material is gonna get really wrinkled in the suit case. I would bring a mist spray bottle and hang/spray to get those wrinkles out if there's no time for ironing.

Of the Starcruiser wardrobe you've shown, I'd have to rank #1) Formal Tunic #2) Saber Training Tunic #3) Bail Organa Security Aide I think I'd still prefer the black Jedi robes. Just more my taste, but for formal wear, DEFINITELY the Formal tunic!

Since the tunic is cotton and linen then it will be wrinkly. That's the nature of the fabric andf a lived-in look is best for that tunic. The belt it comes with is made from synthetic material. I know because it didn't bleach like the tunic did. Besides taking out the color with Rit Color Remover I removed the sleeves. I had trouble with the snap closures and one came loose after I washed the tunic.

With the ridges on the arms a little tucking and sewing could shorten the sleeves and stay with the theme! :D

It does look fancier than the Galaxy’s edge tunic. I just don’t like the blue belt but only because when you spung around the excess material was flapping around at the back🤷🏼‍♂️ Personally I’d pick the Jedi belt on it’s own, it adds more to it rather than being the same colour as the tunic.

hey Dan-O. I would say if you are going to use the shawl then use the black belt with the Jedi belt. If not then do the blue belt with the Jedi belt. Looks good brother.

For 80$ i think the fit isnt great. Sleeves a little long, midsection a little tight and then the pleated front section is kinda loose and wrinkly, maybe you should ask for another with the pleates in the belt that isnt wrinkly. Still looks awesome tho!

For kids under 14, yes. For adults no you can’t dress up as specific characters but you can dress up and create a unique character.

Remember, that six grand is just for the "Star cruiser". Depending on where you live, you have to get to Disney, buy tickets for the park (cuz you can't just go on the ride/hotel), eat, look the part and maybe buy souvenirs...? So we're looking at 10 grand, easily. If you want to go so badly, go. If you have that kind of money to do it, go. Enjoy it before WWIII or a new strain of the bug or Yellowstone pops.
