Galaktus is not what he seems. He's not just a "space giant" he's a literal force of nature that just must exist for the universe to be in balance. Galaktus can't be exactly physically fought, only beings of cosmic importance can fight him (like Thanos who's an avatar of death). Beerus might struggle fighting Galaktus but if Odin did it so can Beerus.

There are so many "IF" questions in this fight to make a concrete outcome. We do not know Beerus's full power as it was never really shown, he was always being casual and always holding back he almost never took stuff seriously, he was just messing around all the time. On the other hand we also rarely seen the full extent of Galactus' power mostly because he is also always holding back to conserve energy and he can get weaker if he gets hungry. So technicality we do not know the full power of either character. :/ The big question is, will Beerus' Hakai that can "Destroy anything" kill Galactus? The Hakai can even destroy Gods like the Kai and even intangible things like souls and ghosts and living beings that are destroyed by Hakai do not go to the afterlife, they simply are erased. Later other character used the Hakai too and it is implied that it cannot kill opponents if they are stronger than the user of the Hakai. On the other hand in the manga Beerus notes that the Hakai cannot be used on beings that are "immortal" which begs the question what he meant? How immortal? There are many types of immortality in Dragon Ball. Is Galactus considered Immortal since he is a fundamental force of the cosmos? Well, not really Galactus officially died before but he was brought back to life because his death would upset the cosmic balance too much but he has died. So can Beerus' Hakai kill Galactus? I am leaning to say yes but this is too difficult to answer. On the other hand can Galactus kill a God of Destruction? We do know that the Gods in DBZ can be killed with enough power. But what does it take to kill a God of destruction? According to the manga Destruction cannot exist without creation and Beerus died in a timeline when the Supreme Kai also died. Beerus can be erased by King Zeno erasing the timeline but Zeno is the supreme being. So knowing that, can Galactus Kill Beerus? Galactus is probably not on the level of King Zeno. Galactus is undoubtedly more versatile than Beerus able to use a vast amounts of powers from telepathy, to matter manipulation to time traveling. We do not know if Beerus would be affected by Power Cosmic, can he be reality manipulated away or he is immune to it becasue of divine protection? Many if not all Gods of Destruction were mortals originally that have been ascended to godhood that gave them additional powers we do not know of like eternal life. Both have hax moves that can potentially defeat the other we have no confirmation if either would work. I would think that out of all the feats Galactus have shown, time travel is one thing that Beerus might not be able to do, either because he is not allowed by divine laws or because he just can't. We know Whis can do it for Beerus but the Angels are on a higher tier than Gods of destruction and I would think Beerus would do it on his own if it would be possible. So one surefire way I can think of that Galactus can potentially defeat Beerus is to send him to an alternate timeline, which Galactus was shown to be able to do against Sphinx and Beerus would not be able to return either because he is forbidden or just don't have the power for it. But again big "IF"s here. Only IF Beerus' Hakai cannot instantly kill Galactus or IF Galactus is able to react and IF the Power cosmic can affect Beerus and IF Beerus cannot return from being sent through time.

You're clearly not too familiar with dragon ball sir. Like you said, beerus has never shown his full power. In dragon ball super he is far, FAR more powerful than you're giving him credit for. And that was a goku that is exponentially WEAKER than Goku at the end of the series. And Beerus is still confirmed to be stronger than Goku at the end of Super.
