This scene felt like a real conclusion to the Galadriel/Halbrand storyline-unfortunately-but I still hope season 3 will dive deeper into the Galadriel/Sauron relationship. While Galadriel firmly shut the door on him, I can’t imagine their story is truly over, especially since she now carries the shadow of Morgoth within her. I could see her being tempted by darkness again, and maybe Sauron being drawn to her light (or pretending to be). I really hope they explore this further, as the actors have great chemistry.

I like how Galadriel was willing to sacrifice her men’s life to find Sauron and avenge her brothers death. She was so obsessed as to jump into the middle of the ocean and swim hundreds, maybe thousands, of miles. She insulted and threatened kings, leaders, her friends -anyone who would even delay her vengeance for a minute. and then forgot all about it in Season 2 to flirt with her brother’s killer. Yeah, that’s why I stopped watching. That at the imitation hobbits -so annoying.
