Thank you Dr. James Tour. You have helped me so much. I was looking into the Greek Orthodox church and I confused me so much. You have helped me to return to my loving God who loves me and have me the gift of salvation. I have always believed that but a Christian friend of mine became a Greek Orthodox and said it is the true church and it was from the apostles right from Jesus. I thought I should go there and look into it but the more I found out the more depressed I got. I am not saying that they aren't Christian I'm just saying that I thought maybe what I believed all along that I was saved by faith might be wrong cause they say they are the true church and they have proof. Anyway I've come back to my roots because of your help. Thank you.i will continue to listen to your sermons and trust in my loving, compassionate God who I have always loved.

Levitical Law keepers with no relationship blinded to understanding. We are to become one under the Lord and king of kings. Abraham bore Gentile Nations and Jews to become one knowing Jesus Christ said, "No one goes to the father without going through me". Born again to his gift of merci. Died for our iniquities, defeated death, raised to the right hand of the father to come back and gather his bride at the wedding feast. May he find me worthy of his sacrifice, making something out of nothing. AMEN!

Reading the Bible is a work, as is prayer! The question is, what type of work? There is a distinction with a difference between the works that save, the works that are neutral, and works where we choose to allow the advocate to lead us!

They can be convincing but the further you dig the more you realize they're wrong. For example they'll say that anyone can convert to Judaism but the Jews are the children of Israel, they are Jewish by blood. They'll also say that the Messiah was prophesied to be born to a young woman, not a virgin...but a young, faithful, unmarried Jewish woman is a virgin.

19 And the Lord said unto me: These two facts do exist, that there are two spirits, one being more intelligent than the other; there shall be another more intelligent than they; I am the Lord thy God, I am more intelligent than they all. 20 The Lord thy God sent his angel to deliver thee from the hands of the priest of Elkenah. 21 I dwell in the midst of them all; I now, therefore, have come down unto thee to declare unto thee the works which my hands have made, wherein my wisdom excelleth them all, for I rule in the heavens above, and in the earth beneath, in all wisdom and prudence, over all the intelligences thine eyes have seen from the beginning; I came down in the beginning in the midst of all the intelligences thou hast seen. 22 Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham, the intelligences that were organized before the world was; and among all these there were many of the noble and great ones; 23 And God saw these souls that they were good, and he stood in the midst of them, and he said: These I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and he said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them; thou wast chosen before thou wast born. 24 And there stood one among them that was like unto God, and he said unto those who were with him: We will go down, for there is space there, and we will take of these materials, and we will make an earth whereon these may dwell; 25 And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them; 26 And they who keep their first estate shall be added upon; and they who keep not their first estate shall not have glory in the same kingdom with those who keep their first estate; and they who keep their second estate shall have glory added upon their heads for ever and ever. 27 And the Lord said: Whom shall I send? And one answered like unto the Son of Man: Here am I, send me. And another answered and said: Here am I, send me. And the Lord said: I will send the first. 28 And the second was angry, and kept not his first estate; and, at that day, many followed after him.

24:25 it wouldn't have mattered if God "didn't tell him" that the promised son was going to be Sarah's.. that's what he should have believed. Abraham's "problem" became the same as Adam's, in that he "hearkened unto the voice" of his wife.. He should've in FAITH have refused Sarah when she told him to go into Hagar, believing that in the promise of "blessing him" he was also blessing HER! Genesis 16: 2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. *And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.* 3 And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. 4 And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes. 5 And Sarai said unto Abram, *My wrong* be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the Lord judge between me and thee. 6 But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

Samuel Guzman, Essentially, you are correct, but God had a purpose for Esau and his lineage. It was not in God's will that Abraham correct Sarah. It was God's will to use Esau's branch, which is now those who are largely Muslim/Islamic. There are end time prophesies that seem to reference those people.

@cocoj126 perhaps.. yet the "battle", seemingly for "inheritance rights" persist between the two peoples even to this day. It makes me wonder what the prophecy concerning Ishmael means? Genesis 16: 12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. Islam sure seems to be AGAINST everybody, especially when it comes about what it teaches about the "infidels".. Not a very "tolerant" religion for sure.

Maybe when Abram laughed he laughed with delight rather than scoff or scorn. And perhaps Sarah laughs from her pain and yearning. Faith in the scripture isn't sentimental. Real faith is also a verb, an action .

James as you have said , God appeared to Abram in Genesis chapter 12, and Stephen in Acts chapter 7,v2 said that God of Glory appeared unto our Father Abram when he was in Ur of the Chaldea, and we read in Hebrews chapter 11v8, by Faith, when He was called, commanded of God to Go out, unto a place that hew would afterwards receive for an inheritance Obeyed God, so Abraham by Faith Obeyed God in Genesis chapter 12, before He was justified in Genesis chapter 15v6, and in Genesis chapter 14v19, Melchisedek Priest of The Most Hiigh God, who in Hebrews chapter 7v7 King of Righteousness King of Peace, with beginning of days or end of Life , so Abram was blessed with Bread and Wine after he had won the battle to save Lot from Slavery, before he was justified by faith in Genesis chapter 15v16 . this does not mean that Abraham was not justified by faith in Genesis 15v6, but it does prove that Abram obeyed God's commands, to get out of his native land ,and go to the the Land that God had promised him , in Genesis chapter 12, before he was justified by faith in Genesis chapter 15v6, and that he was blessed by God as a victorious warrior in Genesis chapter 14, before He was justified in Genesis chapter 15v6

Actually Abraham did not just believe in God, he experienced it's reality full well land was guided by God through out his life. Again, no need opt guess around and read some incomplete books on this subject such as bible when you have direct access to Jesus Christ and learn more on the subject directly or via inner guidance. Hit my words and know the christ within you!

Galatians 4:16 Am I, therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth . Historic facts that people want to hide concerning WWl&WWll. And we now see the same things moving into place in this day. Who is Benjamin H Friedman? What book did he write , and published, October 10, 1954 Jewish believers are also freed from being under the law. Let’s not forget that. He was talking about salvation, to have faith in our Lord for salvation, for the Redemption that is to all who are in Christ Jesus . and by the way, we were told that we would be persecuted for our faith in our Savior all through the centuries Christians have been persecuted it’s been swept under the rug.

I am a psychologist and economist and I may know something that you don't. Is it possible to believe it is impossible to be wrong believing? God exists because something can not be created from nothing, however the concept of religion is so absurd and ridiculous that I would not waste my time explaining the obvious. Having said that atheists still think i am religious. Is it possible to reason with humanity? God is something real capable of creating the universe from an eternal existence. God is the solution to all the problems and i know how to end poverty in the world. Much of the gdp (gross domestic product) is what i call "destroy to make" economy. Could humanity house all the homeless with all the palaces destroyed in wars in history? Could humanity live in all the castles and palaces destroyed in wars along history? I am a poet that writes prose to be understood better. All my work is poetry. If I am punished in the corner looking to the wall I can not do miracles. To end the war in Ukraine the discovery that atheism is a logical fallacy has to be news. Atheism is a logical fallacy that assumes God is the religious idea of the creator of the creation to conclude wrongly no creator exists because a particular idea of God doesn’t exist. I hope for God's sake to be understood. Is it sharing truthful information that save lives asking much to end the lie? I don't know much, but I know what I know, and I have lived long enough to know Nobel Prizes are given to friends and family and people don't care. How would you overcome the most severe and devastating censorship in history in a social media era for many years trying giving everything I got to save lives with knowledge? It is important that you understand I am not asking you to agree with me and I am censored. God created the universe from self and reality is a miracle by nature impossible to understand.

Jesus said "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day". The flesh and blood of Jesus, His Real Presence is found in the Tabernacle of every individual Catholic Church in the world. Come to Mass, become Catholic, and eat the flesh and blood of Jesus for eternal life.!

@kenkuzdak
@kenkuzdak Жыл бұрын
@likeahouseonfire Transubstantiation is the term the Catholic Church uses to describe what happens at Mass during the epiclesis when the priest asks the Holy Spirit to come upon the gifts of bread and wine and change them into the flesh and blood of Jesus. Jesus is present in The Sacrament of Eucharist even though the appearance of the bread and wine remains. Look up 'Eucharistic miracles', and you will find many examples of the Eucharist appearing as actual cardiac tissue and AB- blood. Jesus is the new and everlasting Pascal Lamb that must be eaten, and when Jesus says he will remain with us always, it is through the Eucharist, which He instituted at the Last Supper.

Up here in upstate NY the snow can be wild. I remember a time when I was a kid & passenger in the front seat of my Ma's 69 impala, she lost control of the car in the snow/ice. As we slid toward the railing of a bridge on a bend over water, my Ma slammed her hand against my chest, held the steering wheel hard to the opposite direction, & closed her eyes! I couldn't hear her because I was overcome by calmness but I knew she was praying because she has very strong faith. Next thing I know right before we were about to hit the rail and probably go over the bridge, the car somehow corrected and without any issues or sudden jerks we were driving onward. My Ma had an expression of "what just happened" on her face, looked over at me while continuing to drive on and said "are you ok?" My countenance was as if everything was fine the entire time and I simply replied, "yea, good!" as if nothing happened. We had a short dialogue of what happened and because I was so calm she didn't think I understood what could've happened but I answered and said, "yea we could've gone over the bridge." Confused she said why weren't you scared you were breathing heavy...I replied "because you knocked the wind out of me but I felt we were going to be ok." She said then and still to this day that she has no idea how the car corrected or how we drove off without issue. The last thing she saw before closing her eyes she still says is we were about to hit the railing. I still believe to this day it was our belief in God and her faith that led to driving off without issue instead of a dramatic accident. I do remember telling her then, my older brother who passed away (at 8yrs old) from a house fire a short time before that was watching over us with angels. We were on black ice that whole time, we should've went into that railing and even over the bridge. Only God knows why we didn't! I believe, to this day, he intervened and so does my Ma. Thanks for the video Doc Tour. I love the content! God bless you brother!!! 🙏
