That’s the beauty of Malayalam actors: they talk about their work and industry instead of records. See how many times FaFa references the ‘Manjumal Boys’ in this interview. We can’t find the same in other industries, where they only mention films that are pan-India or have collected 200 crores. And at the end, when Rangan quotes upcoming big films like Pushpa 2, FaFa simply mentions that he has a beautiful small film by Altaf Saleem. Beautiful.

So glad Fafa did this and with english. Its the first time I had Eng interview from Malayali film industry. The message I get from Fahadh Faasil in this interview is that he thinks himself as an engineer in acting, or producing. He mentioned the details in a precise appraoch instead of genius flashes, nature born feelings etc. So I can compasionate that he enjoys more as a producer, well maybe FaFa didn't said it that way, but from the reactions of Baradwaj, he clearly wants to move out of that topic. As a non-Malayali audience, I agree that Malayali film industry are having its time. Great time for brave challenges and evovles. Exactly mind and talent like FaFa is what we need.

Cinema is indeed more than mere entertainment; it's an art form that transcends time and culture. While some films may be seen as purely for entertainment, many become classics that resonate across generations and cultural boundaries. Dismissing art after a few hours of viewing, as Fahad suggests, is a narrow perspective. Art, including cinema, deserves ongoing celebration and discussion, whether in classrooms or casual conversations. It possesses the power to influence people profoundly, shaping their thoughts, societal perspectives, and lifestyles. Just as the selection of colors impacts a painting's intensity, the performances of actors contribute significantly to cinema's status as a perfected art form.

44:33 - The Actor Fahaad entered the interview, what an expression
@cornucopia39767 ай бұрын
An exceptional dialogue altogether. Not only did it bring some solid moments from Fafa, but the respect and care BR organically uses to explore him deserves a huge applause. Fafa is such a comfort to watch sans thallu and humble bragging of his contemporaries. Always makes sense.

This is one of the first time Fahadh has opened up so much about cinema. He drew my attention from Chappa Kurushu and became one of my favourite actors since then. A movie which was well crafted. The best part about him is the stardom that he is not taking seriously which gives him the liberty to try and explore different genres and stories. +1 to the new era of cinema. I feel it is not just Malayalam but the audience is open to exploring exciting cinema. I am really curious to see a combination of a Fahadh Faasil & Aamir Khan movie. The approach they have towards cinema including creative side of it is something that can be really exciting. And a double whammy if Anurag Kashyap directs it!!!!

No wonder Fafa doesnt like to give interviews. He has a lot to say but isnt very articulate. But more than compensates for his interview skills with his acting chops on the big screen. What a Boss man on screen.

I think Ajith and FAfa share same thought process regarding fans association..., they are concerned about their fan's carrer. Not many actors have the guts to reveal their face when they have some hair fall problem. Confidence level

For any one, films shouldn't be something they discuss in life more than the day they watch it. Fahad is right. People should talk more about their life rather. After all movie is just an entertaining media nothing in real life happens like in most movies.

Such a rare treat to listen to Fafa! BR tried hard convincing Fafa that he is an icon and Fafa casually brushing it aside just only how he can. I was surprised at no reference made for the movie Malik which was one of Fafa’s(many) best though that could be for the reason he mentioned about Kerala audience. Either way, a real good interview 🙌

The judgements by some arm chair warriors below is the reason FaFa doesn't want to give interviews. He's an introvert and its evident w his fillers or repeated words.

Fafaa is really uncomfortable doing an interview. You can see that the answers were never cohesive. BR was really struggling to get something out of this interview
