I hope you watch the entire show. It is 18 episodes of musical genius. This is one of my top 5 TV shows ever. And it's funny that you said the language was vulgar, because this is actually the toned down version. But ABC's KZbin channel still has the preview video with the original raunchier lyrics up on their official channel. (The video entitled Galavant A New Comedy Extravaganza. It only shows clips from Episode 1, so you'll have seen everything in it.)

Was the entire show toned down? Is there any way to watch the original version, or was the toned down version what is on Hulu and the DVDs?

@@jeeshadow1 Well, I think the pilot was made to be a bit edgier because the timeslot it was in normally had TV-14 content, while Galavant is TV-PG. So, yes the entire show is more toned down, but the actual content later on was specifically designed that way from the beginning, rather than being changed.

Absolutely please watch this! I believe there's only one other person who has reacted to it on KZbin and it's my favorite show. I would love to go through it with you 🙂 The entire thing is only like 7 or 8 hrs and its gold.

He did receive an Emmy Nomination for the Season 2 intro song, but unfortunately didn’t win. Menken would finally win his EGOT for the Tangled Series.
