I’ve been using the buds plus on my iPhone for the last two days and the app makes the buds plus on a iPhone worth the purchase this time. Love having the app features to make full use of the buds. And no the original buds will not work with the app only with standard Bluetooth connection on the iPhone. To use the app and Enhanced features u will need to plus buds.

Turning off Bluetooth is one method. You can also put your buds into pairing mode by tapping and holding both buds at the same time for several seconds.

I used to use my Buds+ on my iPhone XR a few years ago and it was an easy connection with great quality. Now it's not appearing anywhere on my iPhone whether in Bluetooth or the Galaxy Buds app. I can't tell if it's fully charged or not since I don't have it connected or appearing on any other devices. Please help?

One thing to make sure is that your phone is connected to both the galaxy buds and the galaxy buds LE thing. Mine were only connected to the LE thing at first and the audio wouldn’t stream. After connecting to both, tho, everything works 😂

Hello Karen. You probably already know but the Galaxy Buds+ are only available with the iPhone 7 and higher.

I've connected to my iPhone successfully but the sound plays out of the iPhone and not the Buds+. Yet, they work as expected on my Pixel. I found that you have to turn off Bluetooth on any other devices the Buds+ are connected to be able to get the sound to play through the Buds+ on iPhone. Definitely quite interesting but just a heads-up to others who may want to use these on an iOS device in addition to Android.

Do the Galaxy Buds+ work with iPhone 6? I downloaded the Galaxy Buds+ app but when I open it a white box appears stating 'Can't open this app. Not compatible with your device'. Anthony none ya connect through Bluetooth in your iPhones settings. Once connected , open the bud plus app. You can now customize

I followed all these steps exactly for the newest iPad... ALL SOUNDS STILL OUTPUT FROM THE IPAD'S SPEAKERS. It connects just fine. Bluetooth settings say it's connected to Galaxy Buds. Wearables app says it's connected. I can turn on/off ambient and hear it turn on/off just fine. But when I play any sound from the browser, KZbin app, or anywhere, it only comes out from the iPad's speakers. =(

Lol... I just solved it. After setting up the Wearables app, you also have to go to the iPad's bluetooth settings (not the quick settings but full settings app) and pair them once more. Actually, after setting up Wearables, it did give me a notice to do that. I should've read and followed carefully, haha.

They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
