The edge should've had the light up alert with the phone facing up too, in case u don't want people around u to see who's calling but you're not comfortable with having your screen faced down on a surface that may scratch it

We have both. We don't know what happened; WIfe got the Note 5 and I got the Edge + but we thought it would be the other way around based on what we use them for. I'll say this, from the first S series to this one, these phones keep exceeding awesomeness. They're getting more and more expensive too. On that note, I'm so afraid to drop it. Doesn't seem secure in my hand. I'm worried about my below zero commute to Chicago in the winter, where I pull out my phone with gloves on and it falls to the concrete. That may not be a flaw, just that I'm paranoid, clumsy, or all the above.

Got the Note 5, although that gold/platinum color on the edge+ is crazy. The thin, sharp edges on the edge+ aren't the most comfortable either.

How is the N5 easier to hold? When you hold onto the curve and sometimes don't quite grip the frame, it actually makes your hand slip off which is very annoying.

I recently purchased a macbook pro and I have had a mx master before this. After connecting my mx master to my mac I really noticed a lot of lag with the mouse, especially while playing games such as Minecraft. if you're all about the looks, go with the s6 edge plus. if you like the s pen, then go with the note 5. these are the only differences between the two. they both have the exact internals.

To be completely honest, the idea of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus seems so much more appealing to me. Even though the whole "Note idea/Concept" seems really popular for a phone that size, the battery life just isn't up to the mark. The edge, on the other hand, really makes up for that by giving you side-view notifications and alerts.

Upgraded my Note 3 to the Note 5, so far I'm liking it. Storage isn't a problem but battery life is a bit "ehh". It's a huge upgrade on my end but overall its up to your preference (Stylus pen never disappoints me!).

I thought I would be able to choose one of these as an upgrade to my current Note Edge. I really use the S pen on a daily basis as well as the multi tasking capability of the edge. Why couldn't Samsung have both these features just like the Note Edge. On top of that, no expandable storage and removable battery is just keeping me away from these beautifully crafted phones. I feel the exact same way with the Gear S2, I have the Gear S and I'm very used to having the extra screen real estate. This is the reason why I haven't upgraded my tech this year.

I prefer the note 5. It's interesting because it feels smaller than the 6 edge+. The 6 felt humongous, white the note felt deceptively compact.
