Duge Hick iPhone X is not a bad phone. But as i don´t close apps in the app switcher all the time. My daily use was pretty close to the second lap 3GB is just not working all that great unless you constantly are closing apps in app switcher and it was pretty annoying so only 40 days of iPhone X for me. Face-id was also not as great as i hoped and the battery time was not an all day one for me. Worst of all is that i had a iPhone 4S years ago and I was pretty happy with that but after that I went Android until the exiting iPhoneX came out and boy was I badly surprised to the same user interface as so many years ago WTF Apple.

Dont be afraid Iphone will follow trend and bump up to 4gb ram this year 6 gb ram in another year and will finally catch 8 gb of ram in the year 2021. Moejii - not In Opening the apps, the iPhone opened and loaded everything quicker but because it has half the ram of the galaxy it couldn’t keep everything open. Also the galaxy is a newer phone so idk why it took longer for it to open apps. The next phone Apple releases will beat the galaxy

Yep.. A cooling system does absolutely nothing to make a phone faster in a speed test. It's useful in gaming. Also that cooling system is not that great, Someone tested it against OP6, N8 and despite having very slightly cooler Temps than N8 it did throttle although a bit less than N8 so what was the point of cooling system again if it's gonna throttle anyway? OP6 didn't.. And after 10 tests it's lowest performance number was still higher than N9's first run.

@Ed Saucin Well in that case it's doing a poor job at it. Note 9 is throttling its performance with a cooling system... That means it's not able to keep it cool enough to run at Full performance. While OP6 without any Hyper carbon cooling system manages to keep Temps slightly hotter than N9 but keeps 95% of its performance all the time.

For Apple, the reason it’s $999 is because the memory is faster, a year old processor is faster, the Apple brand is more valuable, there is much MUCH better first party and third party support, extremely strong ecosystem integration (which no one has come close to matching yet), support for iOS updates and new features for five years or more (very expensive for a company to offer), best haptic engine by far of any phone, better quality App Store, only phone to not have a chin (extremely complex and expensive manufacturing process to bend the screen so there’s no chin which no company has been able to replicate..even the clones can’t), and most importantly, it values your privacy and since Apple doesn’t make a single cent collecting or selling your info (Bc they’re not in the advertising business like google where google makes over 80% of profits thru targeted ads generated through android and other platforms). These things easily add up to make the $999 value. Some people see it fit to pay $999 for the Note and find it worth it just for specs and the pen and stuff which is totally fine but imo the iPhone is much better valued than the note at $999 and that’s why it literally obliterates every other phone in sales even a year after release. Every business student analyzes Apple as a case study on how to value products and services so it’d be pretty foolish to say the world’s only trillion dollar company doesn’t value its products properly lol it’s much much more complex than just “specs”

Damian Dumitrescu Nahh iPhones next month would be already using A12 chip which is based on 7nm process which is going to be 20-30% faster than iPhone X A11 chip and it will be 40% more power efficient. Samsung will be using 7nm chip next year in S10. P.s Year old iPhone X is already faster than note 9 as far as speed round is concerned so A12 will be even more faster so nope Samsung ain’t catching up.

LOL! I love how iPhone fan's are saying how IOS 12 fixes a lot of the ram management on the iPhone X. What's funny is that the iPhone X is still losing to the 6GB Note 9 even when it runs IOS 12 in other tests online, let alone the 8GB variant. It will be fun to see how the Galaxy S10 compares, since it's coming out in just a few months with the Snapdragon 855, coupled with at least 6GB as a minimum. The 845 (which actually has a faster GPU than the A11) is now about 9 months old making it a great comparison to the almost 12 month old A11. When the next iPhone series comes out, the true competitor will be the Galaxy S10 since the 855 will be just 3 months apart from the A12. The A12 to the Snapdragon 845 will be a 9 month gap, making is a far less fair comparison. Hence why it's more fair to compare a Note 9 to the iPhone X, then it is to compare the upcoming iPhone's to the Note 9. ^_~
