Maybe have the characters be mourning the loss of the actor, give reference to the actors other roles that were overlooked due to his popularity on the show (in a non comedic way) and get licensing for what they can to edit in imagery of actual Alan Rickman footage. This was just epic to me , totally needs a sequel

Yes but... how could a sequel ever manage to be good enough?

@@Aurinkohirvi it would only work if they had the old cast .....prolly won’t work without Alan Rickman

Sigourney Weaver was 50 when this came out, she was still hot as hell

I know this is inexcusably shallow, but, goddamn, she was hot as a blonde!

She still is.

IMO this was probably her most flattering role. 25 year old sigourney Weaver was hot, but you wouldn't have known it watching her movies.
@fromagefrizzbizz93774 жыл бұрын
@@homelessrobot You musta watched the wrong ones. Ironically, at the time that Galaxy Quest was produced, Sigourney Weaver did interviews where she said how amused she was that they computer-enhanced her bosom for the movie to get a bit more of the "dumb blonde" meme working - "I was never that big"...

@@fromagefrizzbizz9377 I am not even talking about her boobs. I am talking about her general presentation. I have seen nearly everything she's in. It's of course just an opinion though.

The best thing is that after all these years, this still plays well for fans new and old. That’s because it plays as an homage and satire. It’s damn fun.

A movie that actually held fans high? That's none existent now-a-days.

Exactly, When was there a time when a movie actually gave back to the fans that helped them make their millions. One of the reasons its so important , it gives back and not takes.

@@starpirat and d walk, Ecactly right. The producers had it wrong, the writers and directors got it right. I'm a big Sci Fi fan, like alot of folks. I appreciated the affection and respect they showed us ♥️

That goes both ways, fandoms these days are also not what they used to be.
