Amoled displays are shit and wasteful compared to modern screens dude also modern phones have more processing power and transistors than that phone. The only reasons phones had replaceable batteries back then was because the battery would wear down faster. Were getting to the point were we don’t have to replace our battery at all and have a nuclear one

I got a secondary phone which is a redmi 9 and it's an LCD phone and it's terrible compared to my z flip 5's amoled, (we are talking only about the screen, even though z flip is a plastic screen its still AMOLED, with 1hz-120hz)

I literally passed one of those new Samsung phones (I’m an iPhone user so idk the models) at Best Buy, with my friend who is a Samsung user, and we were both looking at 2 different things, I wanted to see how the Apple Watch looked, and he looked at the newest version of phone because his doesn’t work right, well as he was showing the newest version, I told him, “do you remember the time where Samsung users shit on IPhone’s because of having too much cameras? They’re invalid now” how many phones must we go through to just buy a camera with text message capabilities? Like 1 quarter of the phone is camera; and all those, just for discord not to work on it.

I miss the old Samsung phones , I could swap out batteries in 30 second unlike now where I would have to take it to repair shop to do a battery swap and a lot of time it may not be high quality supplier as Samsung wont sell replacement batteries themself anymore .

Removable battery are dangerous. Imagine you are going to change a battery and out of nowhere boom, the battery explode. And the battery nowadays are pretty powerfull and resistent, so you don't need to change

The old samsung phones had good quality. I brought a low end J1 ace all the way back in 2015 and it still works fine today aside from a weak battery which has never been changed. That phone also has an amoled display in that time. My S21 FE on the other hand got a green line after a single update.

An old flagship like the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has features that the S23/24 Ultra are missing and the display still looks great after all of these years. It even has a replaceable battery to extend the life of the phone. It is such a shame that people continue to make excuses for these billion dollar companies at their own expense. Even nowadays, if a cheap $50-100 phone can have a headphone jack, micro SD card slot, usb C to HDMI support on any device, etc. then why can't a $1400 phone? 😅

Samsung also believes you'll buy their premium wireless ear buds, so they omit the headphone jack. Those buying $200 budget phones, are pinching every penny, so Samsung gives them storage expansion via MicroSD. Also, those "budget consumers" don't have money for fancy wireless headphones, so Samsung gives them a headphone jack.
