I just got the notification to update to 4.1 and have not done it yet, but I just hope battery is better. Right now 4.0 sucks with battery.

Based on videos it seems One UI 4/4.1 is really snappy. I upgraded to One UI 3.0 once and it was VERY laggy, phone was overheating, freezing and so on.. is it worth risking to upgrade again (from 2.5)? It won't be possible to downgrade :(

Hey, the phone is indeed smooth and snappy, but the battery life isn't that great on One UI 4 and 4.1. I am still wondering if its due to the update or the battery health has degraded since my phone is over 3 years old now.

Take a backup and do a factory reset, that should make the phone smooth again.

This update comes with the 1st March Android security patch level and there is no Google feed, its so annoying that they are promoting their Samsung Free thing on these older phones, Google feed is far better.

It only works with photos that have a face in it, I hope you are trying with a photo that has got a face in it.

Android 12 is the final update for the S10 and Samsung will not update these to Android 13, it has also been moved to a quarterly security update schedule rather than monthly.
