Also, another feature I did not mention in the video is RAM Plus, this uses the internal storage as virtual memory to improve app performance, I don't think it will make a big impact on the S10+ as its already got 8GB RAM.

You forgot to warn people that they will lose Gear VR after this update. But great video overall, it convinced me to update my girlfriend's S10 (bought few days ago) to Android 12 even if it means losing Gear VR support. Thankfully, I still rock my trusty S9+ and I don't need to give up features due to Android updates.

I have owned my SGS10+ for over 2 years and the battery began to pillow, evidenced by the rear cover beginning to separate on one rear edge. I bought a new rear cover (with pre-adhesive strip already applied, AliEX $10), along with a new OEM battery from Amazon($30). Using a heat gun and a small Philips head screw driver (about 14 screws, to my recollection), I performed the replacement myself over the course of about 30 minutes, to include 10 minutes watching a KZbin tutorial. Easy job and perfect result. New life to my SGS10+!

They've also added some new vibrations, and ringtones They've also added a haptic feedback when toggling in the settings. It has a similar feel to the Note 10 and newer Samsung flaships

This is by far the best S10 update I have gotten. The UI is twice as faster, I am still shocked not sure what was causing all the stutter I had before this update. Going to the task manager and Search views is so smooth and quick.

I've always followed the 40-80 rule, so this battery protection feature is genius! Does the battery feel weaker after the update? I feel like right now with android 11 the battery is slightly better than the s7 edge but not dramatically better as I hoped. I have T-mobile and live in the US so I don't have the update yet.

I also love this phone, everything is perfect, the size, weight and its even got an SD card slot and a headphone jack. I hope they give us at least One UI 4.1 or 4.5 what ever they call it. Its always nice to have new features 😁

Hey, your phone will get the update whenever Samsung releases it in the US, but the update should be out for every S10. You could flash manually if you don't wanna wait.

I would suggest staying on stay on Android 11, the only downside is that the phone will miss out on important security updates, but as a tradeoff, you get slightly better battery backup.

After updating my phone to OneUI 4.0, netlfix is no longer working. I guess it's a bug. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it is still the same. Another 2 that I found as bugs: extra dim feature is missing, though I was able to add it to the quick toggle settings but when I came back it went missing and i have no way to add it again. Picture in picture's edge is still rectangular not circular and aligned to the general UI theme. I hope they fix it soon.

Take it to Samsung service center, and tell them to update the latest software. They will manually flash Android 12 on your S10+

Found your video trying to see if i can fix something. I was hoping you would cover it but it doesn't seem to have annoyed ppl. But for Android 12, KZbin Picture-in-Picture mode has become worse. When sliding the KZbin PiP off to the side to hide the app(for when you're reading something or playing a game so that it doesn't disturb you) the video would continue playing. Now it doesn't. It automatically pauses the video until you slide it out. It's very annoying and I've been trying to see how to disable that. If you have any idea, i would very much appreciate it

You could try the same with Samsung's own multi window (pop-up view) mode, I've never used KZbins own PiP mode, since it never works properly.

Hey, the update rollout is gradual and it depends on the country the phone was purchased in, it may take some time until it reaches your phone, but you will get it sooner or later.

Feels exactly like the same it was before the update. But you will have to give the phone couple of days to settle down and the it also needs to learn your usage pattern, after that the battery life will be good.
