Bluetooth was connected for the entire standby test..... I can't say the same for the iphone because its not indicted anywhere. Only noticed bluetooth was on for the iPhone as well.

You guys should make a table showing the Wh/h consumption for each category. Some formula like (Max capacity) x (percentage drop) / (test time). It wouldn't be 100% correct, but It'll be a nice touch to scale the efficiency. Nice vid, as always.

I believe if u add these information at the ranking sector will make your site more reliable: - Take out the spec info column - Replace it with the outcome of your test i.e. SOT & Standby result - List more result in your ranking (5 results is inadequate) Cheers

Honestly Battery test are infinitely more useful than "how fast does it open Apps?" tests. The latter has close to zero impact on daily usage, whereas battery life is actually important

The display on the S10 was increased to the Max along with the brightness which is far above the iPhone. You have a far higher resolution display and brightness and the iPhone still couldnt beat it. 16 hours of standby is only to favor apple because the Galaxy is set to tap to wake so it is running touch sense constantly while the iPhone does absolutely nothing. BhargavGV yeah you are right. But this is not a simple thing and not cheap at all as they have to build your own femtocell which work as cell repeter inside building. Femtocell only/ mostly used only inside a huge building like mall, hotel, which need cellular coverage optimization. So I think the cell operator won’t make a femtocell inside a private house, they will only do an adjust and optimize the celluler base stations near your house.

Downscaled (interpolated) 1080p looks bad. Feels like I need glasses when using my S7 edge on that resolution. It’s nowhere near as sharp as native 1080p. 1080p being default is a scummy move on Samsungs part, and is done precisely so they can brag about battery life. Battery life should be compared at the optimal experience.

If they were to do something like the standby test right after the iPhone died then the S10+ would have had at least 4 hours of an advantage, so it’s really subjective. Same as if they did a gaming test right after the iPhone died, then the advantage would only have been a couple minutes. At the end of the day, the iPhone is just really well-optimized but the S10+ still beats it by having an enormous battery.
