I just bought S24 Ultra. When I watch a high quality video on KZbin, the images are a bit blurry and the details are low. I still have s10+. I feel that the image of videos is much better on s10+. Is your mobile the same?

what I miss most about the S24 ultra is that you no longer have the function to use your 4 digit code on your phone without OK, which was possible on the S22 ultra

That's possible just reset your number for login in and it does it automatically

no, it doesn't help...only when you enter 6 digits you do not need to confirm with OK.

Just a few things I've noticed: The loading (buffering status) indicator no longer spins regardless of application you're in. -2 or 3 step verification text back does not work from any app trying verify your identity. -Press and hold incoming text detail information does not work the same as previously galaxy s devices. -Lagging trying to scan for WIFI signals. -out or incoming text messages to and from out of state does not work.

Night time use with the 24u was painful, hated it. Something about the super bright whites, off angle viewing and lack of warm colors destroyed my eyes last night. I set this aside and used my n10+ with it's warm vivid colors, it was like heaven on my eyes.

That is exactly what I noticed when I used the dark mode on the S 24 ultra, I couldn't stand it and it really hurt my eyes and there was especially in the dark grey parts of the screen red and green foggy pattern-horrible I returned it to Samsung ,I couldn't stand the display / the screen of this new Samsung 24 ultra

@@flicka25 It helped minimally. Side by side I want the note 10+ over my s24u. The 24 is sitting unused tonight, on the note now and it's perfect. Only upgraded because my back glass is broken and camera is damaged. But it wasn't an upgrade at all.

I returned my S24 Ultra because of this to Samsung and didn't buy a new one

Also under display when you go to screen mode go to advanced setting and slide all colors to 0. See if that works with vivid or natural

They took the gestures option from the S23 Ultra as well with One UI 6.0. I did download GoodLock yesterday so I'll take a look....bless you, I think you can turn off AOD and tap to wake it....I can only guess by looking at your settings....I'm still on the old AOD which I like btw and which is on 'Tap to wake'. I don't know why the heck they fiddled around with AOD only to copy Apple geez. Thanks Jeff! I keep swiping up lol....muscle memory....I've had those gestures since the S10+!

Getting gestures back worked perfectly, BUT, they won't stay. In minutes, my S24 Ultra reverts back to the single bar w/o any interaction with the screen...and sometimes even back to the buttons! S24 Ultra screen touch sensitivity is not as sensitive as previous generations, even with touch sensitivity setting enabled when putting a tempered glass.

I share the same sentiments. The S24 is missing so many features that would make it the ultimate must have phone. I am constantly on the internet trying to "fix issues" and look for alternatives with the features they ruled out. Rn, the notes does not show hyperlinks even when the option to is turned on.

Do you know of a way to keep the media player in the notification area after swiping down? Whenever I pause spotify for period of time, maybe 20 mins to an hour, if I want to continue playing, I have to go to the app to play again, rather than swiping down and pressing play. Is this a bug?

If you are referring to the "water drop" effect when he types, that is also in Good Lock. The add-in is called Keys Cafe. You can use it to customize your keyboard.

one of the best ways to make the bixby custom voice sound better, is to make your own voice have a more cheery inflection when reading those 10 sentences. at least, that's what i have noticed.

When I started my phone it had the buttons at the bottom and the swipe bar was samsung wallet -- Idk if this is based on how my phone copied data, or this suddenly changed -- but I appreciate knowing about this app to customize everything! I did not know about it until I purchased this phone and I am excited to take a look at it. So far I only have my s20 ultra to compare it too, I was surprised it is slightly smaller, feels heavier, and the battery seems to run down faster? Maybe this is just first day phone anxiety XD but I sure hope the battery would be better than my s20U.

Check the control panel...there's a mobile data icon....have it turned on all the time even if on wifi...when you are off wifi the mobile data kicks in. If you mean you want it on all the time on mobile data go to connections in settings and switch off wifi. I think you have the option to only use wifi when you tell it to. In extremis...tell it to forget your home wifi connection....if outside there's the option to not let it hook up to some random wifi hotspot of which, believe me, we have many here and I don't trust them.

I have been a Samsung fan since 2014 and have REALLY enjoyed my 21 Ultra! I was not really excited to trade it in, but the S24 Ultra has some features that I knew I would enjoy, like not having the annoying rolled edge, and having a stylus... so I ordered direct from Samsung. I had my 24 Ultra for 28 hours and returned it. The colors rendering is HORRIBLE! There is NO difference between vivid and natural. The problem isn't saturation, the problem is that they have darkened or blackened everything. The red messenger icon isn't red! Trees with green leaves are not green. It's like they put that hideous blvck filter on EVERYTHING and I could not find a way to correct it. VERY BAD MOVE by Samsung!

-I can't generate wallpapers because it said I'm underage which I'm not, all my ages are not underage. Others have also had the same issue, can you check whenever you're able to use generative AI to create wallpapers? -Also my S24 Ultra runs Asphalt 9 at consistent 60fps, however it's much less smooth than my 3 year old phone that also runs it at 60fps. Been a Samsung user since the note 3. I love my ultra's I have pre-ordered the last 3, the 24 ultra was defective after 2 days and because i pre ordered from Samsung they are NOT very helpful. After hours of online and in store tech help I had to pre-pay $1,700 to get a replacement With a stipulation they would do a price match. I got it and it was a demo (worthless) phone. They said for $1700 more they could send another one... Apparently ordering direct is quite dangerous.

I like to edit my photos on IG or photos app but when I take a screenshot of this new edited vibrant pic. The screenshot by pressing power and vol down takes the shot of a dull darker pic than what i edited.
