MY opinion based on over 25 years as a Windows/VMware Systems Engineer...NEVER, never, NEVER allow a backup to restore your apps! Data is OK but not the apps! The ONLY time I would say it's OK is if the old phone is exactly the same as the new phone...which rarely happens! All the bits and pieces that are inserted into the OS with a standard install CAN get all screwed up with a restore! I can't even begin to count the number of times someone has cursed their new phone for having strange unexplainable bugs only to find out that they restored everything from a backup and can find no solution to the problem. Then, after pulling their hair out, and cursing god, they capitulate to the inevitable FACTORY RESET! Dreaded time consuming ordeal that they should have done from the start! And Voila everything now works as expected. The choice is yours and many will say I'm wrong. It's your life and time! YMMV

A very useful setup tutorial. Some of these tips are not new to the S24 Ultra and were already on by default on my two-year-old S21 Ultra, however, this is a great refresher for anyone who wants to get the most out of their new S24 Ultra! One great tip is the palm swipe to take a screen shot that I wasn't using. So much quicker than trying to press the volume down and power button in perfect harmony to capture a screen shot! Thank You!

Yeah. I use an S20 Fe right now and I activated the double tap the side button to activate the flash thing. I am thinking about upgrading to S24U but my phones is doing fine and you know S24 is expensive. It is as tempting as it is expensive too.

TY Saki....good revision for me. I make my own custom sound profile in Adapt sound. Makes one heck of a difference. Powershare...well that depends on the case you have...that's why many people forget about it or don't use it. If you're really desperate you have to take the case off. I'll be getting the S24+ in that awesome violet but I'll be keeping my S21 Ultra. It could take a while...maybe February.....the iPhone 15 line up was late too.....'coming soon' for retailers here means a couple of months lmao.

Tip 7:50 about sound quality. 63/125hz dont work on speakers, only headphones/bluetooth. If You interesting only sound quality (not loud) set 250hz -5 500hz -5, 1khz -3, 2khz -3, 4khz -3, 8khz -3 and 16khz -1. This is the best sql when ive never hearing. Not loud but its enought for normal listen music/yt netflix. And choose music, when you stay at home, outside automatic minimal louder, but not natural, if you watch nwtflix choose film.

Bixby is so underrated! Bixby is for using voice commands in your phone.. Like Google is easy to ask outside of phone settings! I use it all the time! "Bixby turn on flashlight" done no pushing anything in dark

@11jrg11 I also use Bixby if I for example take a Screenshot or download the image of a pair of Sneakers and go to Gallery and touch the Bixby Eye Icon it will pop-up a screen with the exact same Sneakers the majority of times or it will make suggestions and it will show you the majority of times where they can be bought either on the Thumbnail or the Thumbnail will take you to the store!!! I never use Google Lens 👍😊😉

I received my S24 Ultra and immediately noticed the below standard display. The screen is not vivid and has a bluish tint that is not natural to look at. I'm very disappointed with Samsung and I'm returning the phone. I hope you do a video that illustrates this problem. Many people are complaining about the issue and are not satisfied.

Same 24th, I think it does depend though. When I was playing around I chose a bigger memory and that changed the delivery date to February, there's also another comment on this video that is getting theirs in February I think because of the colour they chose not sure though

I use the double tap for the camera. We need a triple tap too. Then I would add the flashlight.
