Galaxy Tab A: How to do a Forced Restart (Force a Restart)

I show you how to force a restart (forced restart) on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A. You force a reboot when you cannot restart normally, have a black screen of death, boot loop, unresponsive, frozen and it may solve your issues. Hope this helps.

Okay, well all week long now, my S6 Lite has shown nothing but a black screen. When I plugged in the charger, all it showed was a circle and a little zap bolt, and nothing. I just did this reset trick, and now my tablet's starting to show that it's charging again. I hope it'll be back up and running in the morning, because I really can't live without my tablet. Thank you so so much. You're a lifesaver. You are a star.

@@balazsxd Yeah, it worked for me. Power and volume down buttons, hold them for ten seconds. The screen should go blank, then reboot. If you get the BSoD (Blue Screen of Death), press the volume down button to cancel, and it should reboot again. To make sure, keep it plugged in and charging, just in case it's low on power. If the screen starts to show something like a percentage number, it means it's started charging.

All i get is the beep sound when plugging the charger in, but no percentage % number flashing up, on screen, as it usually does . Tried the Power and Volume Down buttons together as suggested but no luck. Hoping it might just come back to life in the morning 🙏🏼 Thanks for the tip .
