And here I am using a years old S6 lite. And it sucks because it's janky and slow. But it's like 5 years old. But I literally don't care about animations, I just want apps to open and close when I ask and not take seconds to think about it or do it without me asking 😅😅

I only ever really used it for watching content and once I got my OnePlus Open I found I suddenly had a smoother more powerful tablet that was more comfortable to hold, although smaller. But I can compensate for that just by holding it closer 😅 And because of that I can count the number of times that I've picked up my galaxy tab in the last year on one hand. Of course part of that is that it's become a stuttery mess over the last year or so. So I'm thinking about giving the tab S10 ultra a shot when it's released but I don't know. My foldables seem to have eliminated my need for a tablet 🤷

can you be specific about the things you did not like ? when you say you wanted it to be fluent and when you mention your experience and the animation ?

Last iPad I had was the M1 iPad Pro 12.9." I disliked that tablet so much. The aspect ratio for videos. No integration really between it and my other devices, like my Windows PC, Samsung tablet, Fold and Chromebook. I never really paid attention to animations. Neither ever stood out to me, but if I had to guess, which one would let you make changes to the animations, I'd put my dollar on the Samsung tablet. You should make a video with the two, side by side. It's hard for me to imagine, when you don't show examples and I traded my iPad toward an M4 iPad for my daughter for college.

It's not something a side-by-side comparison will help with. You actually have to feel them physically together side by side. Of course you can change the animations on the Galaxy tablet but it don't make them look better. It just makes it. No animations or slower. Animations doesn't really fix the problem that I have. It's a personal thing. I was very clear in the video.

It's a great tablet but not for artist. I've been in a similar place have an 12.9 ipad pro and tab 8 I love samsung but it's frustration how they create such a great product and slack off when it comes to the software also wish more app developers showed loved to android devices. 90% of my art is started on the note 10 plus then sent over to the iPad for finalize it.

I find the complete opposite 😄 Admittedly, I've only got an iPad Air, not a pro, but my Tab S8 Ultra is so much quicker/fluid/snappy to use. Ipad feels slow in comparison - maybe it's the 60hz? Just wish Samsung would use an anti-reflective coating, as I only keep the iPad for travel (and colour accuracy).

Everything you've stated is correct. It is the Software 100%, it just feels like a bloated Galaxy Z Fold Device. The Hardware is Premium, but the Software is sub par. Gboard is the best way to utilize the Book Cover Keyboard (Doesn't work in Dex), I personally have the iPad Pro 13 M4. It Does everything better now that it has OLED, I highly recommended you try it. I am using my Tab S9 Ultra right now. Everything aside from the Hardware of the tablet feels sub par and cheap. I believe One UI 7 and the new Accessories coming out with the Tab S10 series will determine how far Galaxy Tab will go. I've been using iPad Pro since 2020, if you want to know anything specific, you can let me know on X. 120HZ Tandom OLED, you can't go back...😂

Thanks brother. I'm glad someone understands what I mean it's hard to explain. But I've been using iPads since the first one. But I don't plan to grab the 13'in no time soon. I'm actually fine with my 12.9 for what I do on the iPad. I plan to upgrade to the 13'in after maybe another 3 years. iPads last so long I never feel compelled to upgrade every new one. I'm not even looking at the Tab S10. I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed for a Pixel Pro Tablet. Moving forward it's iPad Pro and Pixel tablets for me.

Oddly I understand I love Pixel devices and Apples for fluidity don't get me wrong I love my s24U but it's the themes and the fonts on it. Literally tried to bridge the gap with the fold 6 I last five days as it's coverscreen too narrow for me and I couldn't keep using it open as that defeats the purpose of the object. I love the PixelFold OG dimensions it was love at first use with it and I still love it despite people saying it's heavy. If G did a professional tablet with 120hz first party keyboard and stylus pen I would buy it in an instant.

Yes I'm 100% agree with that. I just need Google to really drop a Pro tablet. I don't really care why the keyboard support, but it'd be nice if they did drop one. I'm more of a pen user. I currently don't even use the keyboard for my Galaxy Tab S9U. But yes, I'm sticking to pixel tablet and iPads

I have the tab s9+. Yes one ui is comparatively less smooth. But for me it’s not a deal breaker and I’ve used to the life with dex. I also have to point out that I mostly use the tablet with a keyboard and mouse so animations don’t matter that much to me

It's really the animations for me only on the Galaxy Tab. If the Pixel tablet had 120Hz and a pen it would be my tablet of choice over my iPad Pro. Animations are important to me and the Pixel tab and iPad nails them.

I totally get what you mean and that’s why I ended up trading mine in and went back to the iPad Pro. The animations when brining KZbin or other video apps in and out of full screen or PiP were just so laggy. Also, the DEX mode issues that we’ve discussed before had me wanting more. Samsung usually has the advantage with their software and all of the features. They still offer so many more features over the other Android tablets that I’ve used and they force apps to fit the aspect ratio and orientation, but apps that will be optimized for iPadOS will be squished into the center of the Galaxy Tab in landscape orientation and it makes me just pick up and rotate the tablet which becomes cumbersome to use because it’s such a tall device, then. I know for content consumption, it’s a better aspect ratio but the iPad’s aspect ratio or my OnePlus Pad’s aspect ratio is a better use for everything else. I’ll take the black bars for media, when I get a taller device in landscape orientation for creation and social media. I do use my tablets a bit different than other people might, though. I have basically replaced my laptop use with my iPad Pro 13 inch with the M4. The other issue I had was the display isn’t bright enough compared to our phones and the iPad Pro’s displays. I like being able to use my tablet with at least some light in the room and the counter to that is it’s too bright without some accessibility function to dim it at night. Hopefully, the S10 series will bring the anti glare technology and brighter display along with smoother animations, but I am not holding my breath. They still haven’t fixed the DEX issues in all of the years that it’s been out. Great video!

Yep great minds thinking like Mike cuz that's why I pretty much stopped using it right now. It's just something I use to still kind of draw on it and pretty much media. Nothing else. In fact, that's kind of all I do on my tablets anyways, but it's just not the best experience doing just even that stuff. It's something about animations that just makes it things better in iPad and a pixel tablet. Right now. Both are great in that field. I just wish my pixel tablet was 120 HZ

I feel your frustration man I own the Google Pixel tablet but I really wish it had 120Hz, and an OLED display instead of LCD and support for pen made by Google and keyboard that would dope I buy the thing even if it was $1 thousand dollar
