Firstly I want to say I’m sorry for your loss. I hope you have people around you who can lift you up in this time. As someone who knows what grief is like, digital distractions only work for so long as you’ve mentioned in the video. Other people may never understand your pain or be able to make it go away but the right people can sure help you carry it. About the phone I’ve had it for over a month now. Battery life continues to be stellar. I’m coming from a 6 Pro so there’s lots of improvements across the board. Your comments about the video quality are spot on. Video Boost is a nice feature but I wish Google focused more on providing us with a 10-bit Android LOG format. To me that’s the next step in terms of video quality. AI can only do so much. I’d much rather have control over what I can do to edit video quality in post and not rely solely on AI.

Thank you! I appreciate you and your kind words. Yeah, grief is different. It's tough we all got different ways in handling it but I do have a loving and strong family and even loving friends. Yeah the battery seems to be really good. I mean I have no complaints about it at all for once on a pixel. And also that's what I'm saying about video boost. People want that to be faster but I just want everything to be in device before the video boost. Timbit will be awesome! Shooting and log would be awesome. That should be the next step

What's good bro, sorry to hear about your loss. With the cameras, we got three new lenses and the ultra wide was bumped up to 48 MP so I would call that a pretty significant upgrade.

I'm so sorry you've experienced a recent loss. May peace surround you and your family. If you need more down time, please do it. Too often I followed societal norms to "push through" and now live with a mood disorder permanently. Excellent review and real discussion about daily use. I have the S24+, but have had the Pixel 7 much longer. Recently fell in love with the Pixel 7 for the first time 😂😂. Will I upgrade?? Probably not, but it's a harder choice not too.

This phone is a complete monster, I love it but, I do miss my pixel and I know that if/when I get another on I will be just as happy as I was prior the my new phone. Bro, we all cope with loss differently and you just have to do whatever helps you process your grief. Just remember that you have people out here for you if you need anything The upside to you getting the XL is that battery life 😅 Can't wait for you to get the Pixel fold 2 I'm watching this on my OnePlus Open 😅

Hi , nice vid. Was glad that you did not get bogged down in bench mark tests, they just bore me. I know you are not a wildlife photographer but would love to see what sort of results a pro photorapher gets taking pics of wildlife with the Pixel 9 Pro optical zoom. Squirrels, ducks and sparrows in a local park would be an adequate subject matter - thanks.

The only issue I had is when I first purchase my pixel 9 Pro XL. After doing initial check in the store I put in it my bag me and my family walked around the mall then stopped to get something to eat at Korean restaurant. At this point, I decided to take a look at my phone again. When I touched the bag the was in it was extremely hot. I contemplate taking it back and replacing it, but I did not. So I just took the phone out of the box. Let it sit on the side to cool down. Has anyone else had any problems with your phone getting hot went while inside a bag or purse? Oh… I live in the Philippines, so the temperature was a little warm. It was in my bag approximately two hours tuned off. Condolences and prayers for your loss 🙏🏾

I want Pixel to succeed because we need more diversity, at least in North America and Europe, where there are Pixel. It's up to Google to do the work and improve the device. Usb 3.1 on 2024 ⛔️. I have Pixel 8 Pro and have no issues at all with it. And the cameras are great. I received an upgrade offer from Google that with a trade-in of $699 (with 256GB storage), I can get a P9 Pro for $999 (probably more for 256GB}. As I am totally satisfied with my P8 Pro, what in the P9 Pro could make it worth it?

That's the last thing I would want to work on. Video transitions are for a very small niche of people. And I'm not in that niche.

You and your friends are a small niche of people like I said. The average users are the masses and I'm pretty sure that's something they don't care about. Only reason a small niche of tech people bring it up is because of tech KZbinrs. And I'm not saying they shouldn't fix it. I'm saying it shouldn't be on the top of the list for such a small niche of people. There are way more things they can improve on over lens transitions.
