i've always been windows/linux for computer, android for phone, and ios for tablets... but recently i've been using android/ios for tablets, linux/windows/macos for computer, and android/ios for phone ... they're all great devices... both have pros/cons.. it's nice being able to use everything. I will say that I probably won't be using ios for phones in the future since apple has removed the physical sim card in iphones (in the US)... and that's the best way to switch phones on the daily.. esim is trash for swapping phones on the fly. hopefully the iphone SE4 has a physical sim since it's the budget phone

Galaxy Tab and iPad are neck-to-neck for me. Mostly because I prefer the flexibility and features of Samsung/Android, but I also prefer iPad's hardware and software design. In terms of phones, though, I prefer Samsung.

I was curious on the performance of the device or smoothness, one of the reasons why I went for the iPad Pro m4, hopefully with this chipset it should last longer then 7 years, I’m loving the tandem old screen as well, as on specs it beats or it on par with on of the worlds best reference monitors, the panel on the lcd s9 is to not be miss judged tho, they colors are just as spot on

@@bougougesjeweleryworld iPad M4 is the greatest out there but that’s only in the performance category… unfortunately, with the iPad, the aspect ratio throws me off, especially the 13” having 4:3 whereas the Galaxy tabs have 16:10… I hate the black bars when watching movies, shows, streams whereas the Samsung Galaxy tab shows full screen. We use our tablets mainly for entertainment, social media, games that are considered mobile standards… the galaxy tab performance is flawless but that’s only with the use of media consumption, switching apps etc. which is enough for me. The iPad with the m4 is an overkill. Maybe if you’re a professional user, then the iPad is a green light… I hope Apple one day, introduces a larger tablet or a change that changes the aspect ratio🙏

The tab s8 and s9 are the best tablet I've ever owned . They have no limitations, the highest level of multi tasking, wireless screeen smart view w Samsung TV that I use as a emulation gaming console, open operating system, the stylus in the box included for less, the, micro SD card etc

I’m trying to decide on the m4 11 inch iPad Pro and the 11 inch Samsung galaxy tab s9. I have a lot of Apple stuff (MacBook Air, iPhone 15 pro max, Apple Watch Ultra), but honestly, I’m leaning towards the S9 over the M4 - why not have the best of both worlds and have access to both operating systems? The S9 is also fairly cheaper price wise.

As per my post above , the Samsung tablet chipset is already a generation behind even the Galaxy phones , sure it still works ok , it’s far from up to date though , an iPad will get updates for years, how many software updates are left on the Galaxy tablet ? and you can already see it is demonstrably slower than the iPad. If it was me and I really wanted the galaxy tablet , I would look into when the next updated galaxy tablet comes out with the same features and more up to date chipset even if it meant waiting a while longer . Your choice to do what you think is right though . Cheers.

That’s kind of an oversimplification though. The Tab S9 can get “Pro” Work done depending on what your profession is. Creative professionals would benefit from the iPad more though, programmers need an actual laptop. The S9 Ultra is an office work powerhouse, and can handle 4K editing with easy along with photo editing.

The samsung imo is a bit behind the eight ball with a chipset that is already a generation older than current Samsung phones , despite some of the Samsung tablets nice extra features such as dex and bigger display , that chipset being old is hard to overlook imo, and how many software updates are left for the Galaxy tablet ? It is still a decent tablet , but for me I wouldn’t touch the Galaxy . I do like the M4 iPad Pro , but it is a lot of coin , and even with the very nice awesome top notch display and powerful chipset , due to the price , I might consider the 13 inch M2 iPad Air , don’t get me wrong, I’d have the pro iPad all day long but budget is an issue for me at this time.

Samsung promises at least four years of Android OS updates and five years of security releases. I bought the s8 ultra last year because I wanted a bigger screen for tv shows and movies. Is my multimedia device. Compared to watching a tv show or a movie on an apple iPad on a 4:3 screen. Is better to have it on a 16 : 10 screen. I rather pay $699 s8 ultra oled with expanded storage. Than on an ipad oled without expanded storage for $1,299. Even the 13 inch ipad m2 air is $799 without storage expanded. I still save $100 what I bought for my s8 ultra. The processor speed is fine for me,So I'm happy with the snapdragon gen1. If I wanted to do something productive, then I would do it on my computer. Both iOS and android has there limition. That's just me. And I'm very happy with my purchase. I had it since November of last year. And no problem. My last tablet last me about 4 years Samsung tab A 10.1 2019 and still work I just wanted a bigger screen. That's why I upgraded. Samsung galaxy tablet last for a long time.

I actually far prefer it not just for content consumption, but even for productivity, over my aging MacBook Air. Better display (12.4" OLED with 120 hz refresh rate), better speakers, better battery life, FAR better webcam, touchscreen + included S-pen, and DeX gives me the multi-tasking capability I desire (something NO iPad currently offers at any price) -- all in a lighterweight, "easier to move around with" package (even with the Keyboard case 😮) than the Mac. Oh, and Macs don't have a Portrait mode, nor expandable storage 😁 😄
