I have one of these but it’s not working at all anymore - when connected to a 12v battery I get no response. What is that likely to be?

You Likely have a board issue somewhere. We can either get you a new board or send me the unit or inner sleeve that holds everything and ship it here for me to go through.

Solid red light on a Gallagher B10.. new batteries and reading 9.4 v at terminals going into transformer.. any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks.

Possibly, but most likely not. Those are all old school design and don't come in all that often. If the old batteries test bad, then it's worth a shot to swap out. But if they test good, then changing them won't help. Then at that point, I would send the unit here for me to go through. Most, if not all, the parts are still made for it today and I might have the parts in stock.

@@FencerFixerRepairLLCKansasCity It wouldn't be worth my while sending it to you as I'm in northern Ireland! Thought there might of been high resistance somewhere simple that I hadn't accounted for.. is there anywhere online that sells the parts for it? Thanks for the help.

Here's our part number we have here in the states for the B10 module, G36319. I'm not sure if it's the same exact part number for over there or not. You could try asking the Gallagher distribution center for Ireland. www.gallagher.eu/

How do you install it to a wire / or fence

There's two male spade tabs on the board inside, one is for the fence and the other is for ground and they may be labeled next to those tabs as well but I can't recall. You attach an insulated wire to those tabs and run them out of the case and put the cover on and use some alligator clips to attach to those wires to the fence and ground system. To physically mount the unit to the fence, there's some hooks on top and your thread the fence wire through those hooks and hang it on the fence line. You can put a step in post on either side right next to the unit on the wire to help hold up some of weight of the unit on there wire if need be.
