Insects are attracted to sugar. You can bait them with sugar water, ripe fruit, honey or syrup.

Kev I’m just guessing but I think mosquitoes are more attracted to UV than the flies. And to have added help to attract flies they have these yellow granules or pellets you can use for that. Also I can’t believe it’s like 50 degrees there and that thing is zapping the crap out of some insects
