Heck, I sorta regret getting the LCT G3 now that this is out.

Same here, especially with all the work I've had to do on the LCT to get it down to local game compliant stats 110fps@ 0.20g. (Swapped 50% of the internals, including the mechbox housing, cylinder, piston and piston head for one that's designed with a quick-change spring system so I might be able to use it with a heavier spring and BBs in milsim outdoor games when I find one.

Don't insert angled to the front. insert angled to the back so you catch first by the release lever end.. works a charm once you learn how.. until then the drill instructor will make your life hell. Unlike AR and M16 this gun will beat you up if you don't hold on to it when shooting.

Just a final question. I really have a reservation on vfc rifles for the past years. After your review, do you think that vfc has done an exceptional job on this g3, or there are still many hidden issues which have not yet been discovered?!

@@BB2K-Airsoft sadly though, the LCT G3A3 has some enormous internal design flaws in that it's way too powerful with it's full length fully sealed cylinder/piston assembly and that it's mechbox is not designed for quick-change of springs. I bought one to get back into the hobby after getting a new job just to find out that all of the large outdoor airsoft fields had closed and been replaced by CQB-semi only fields! :.(

@@archibadboy The rifle will get in trouble. The internals are not made of steel. It is made of zinc and aluminum :-( The body is perfectly made with 90% steel.Why has not VFC also used steel for the internals? It can only be intentional! The aftermarket needs buyers as well :-) I am really disappointed with VFC , It would not be much more expensive to install steel inside. Regards Bruce

Usually these are not listed and just watchable if you klick the link in the review but it appears they made a mistake and have the Review not listed. @@Birb_of_Judge true, though I disagree with Gambit's method. I always insert the forward pin for the lower first, then fold it up and fit the stock, inserting the two rear pins forward pin right to left and rearward pin left to right to make sure that at least one always remain if the other gets pushed out and gets lost for some reason. The latter is more common on the real H&K G3 (which is what I'm comparing this to) though as it's taken apart more often, eventually wearing the holes bigger and the springs in the pins less springy. Either way, this makes me regret buying an LCT LC3A3 AEG almost a year ago. :(
