Wow, love seeing you out of your comfort zone! Having tried dashing in Manhattan, NYC, I can sort of feel your pain from the strip. While you can get illegal parking in NYC, it becomes a race on how fast you can get up to the customer's apt and back down again to your car before you get a parking ticket of $150. Lol. Ain't worth it. I stay in the burbs of Queens/Long Island. Circus always has a special place in my heart. After college in 1995, me and my buddy drove cross country from NY to LA and back. Had a daily budget of $25 to live on. We get to Vegas and stay at Circus. I don't gamble but for shits/giggles I play the 10cent slot that night and hit for $200!!! Hell yea. So I went and got myself a hooker! Lol. Good to be young.

Hey Richard. Just an FYI a lot of the casinos on the strip give Nevada residents free parking for 3 hours. When you exit the parking garage you just insert the ticket and then scan the barcode on your DL.

I was Top dasher for three years straight. I’m a platinum dasher for about 2 months. The biggest deal is to stay above 70 acceptance rate. I had a long string of crap orders and dropped from 83 to 69. Once I hit 69 I went to silver status…. Aka poverty status. My customer rating is at 4.97 completion rating is at 98 and I was locked out of dashing on a Saturday. I took a couple of crap order to get back over 70 to get back to platinum. Now I’m very careful about pausing the dash to keep from getting the add on order that no one wants to do. It’s a different game from being top dasher.

I appreciate you sharing that piece of knowledge, most def will turn on pause dash after this order to stop any orders from coming thru while waiting on one, im low 80s right now because of that exact reason, ill be doing a shop n pay and they try and stack another on me for $2 going 18 miles, no ones taking that kinda order. sucks when they try and piggy back orders on other paying customers.

I live in Montréal, Canada our food is verry different. We don't have a in and out, shickshack and most of the restaurants you guys have in las vegas. It's just kinda been on pause until the rollout of tier.. even then they said it would take a bit before everything goes fully functional..such as LOP and Dash now as well as early scheduling for Platinum so just keep that in mind even after rollout. Also wouldn't hurt to reapply..show catering bags, etc

@tvrekerkyle7092 I think it's well worth it. The avg car payment in America is $768 people are butting these on 36-60 or 3-5 years. Cars now days are trash in 3 to 5 years they build them with lower quality parts it's insane. I can rent for under $800 a month and always have a brand new car. Plus hertz just bought like 10k 2024 malibus, so if u rent through them you're guaranteed to get a new one with less than 5k miles

There's one thing I'm worried about with this new tier system. I've been seeing on reddit that alot of places they just made the change that they removed the ability to dash now, even if platinum. I see plenty of people say they now have to schedule and when they try all the slots get taken in seconds. The ability to dash now is the most important feature of top dasher, if they remove that I'm gonna be pissed and it's gonna greatly effect how I dash

@SinCityDeliveries it depends on market. It's worded differently. Some markets they actually did take the ability to dash now away. It says "priority access to dash now" which means you have to schedule but when the map turns red youll be in the first group to see it. In most of the areas in California they took away the ability already. Nyc as well. Some markets are still gonna be dash now anytime but some aren't. I've already seen tons of different people who already lost the ability to dash now when the tiers hit even though they are platinum. I never take advice from reddit I mean I have nearly 30k deliveries at this point, I just look on there from time to time to see whats going on with the platform
