sometimes you look at the tech tree and you say how many players have it. how do you know?

The cost of researching a tech decreased base on how many players you have met have researched that tech. If a tech has a cost lower than others of the same tier: one or more players have already got the tech.

If you look at all the tech at the same value (above and below) you will notice that some of them have different costs depending on how many other players already have researched them. If you cant see any difference then no one have them.

I think the number of turns or science to complete a tech decreases. Relative to similar techs once it is completed by other players.

Depending on the cost of tech, u can tell how many people have it that u have met

What is wrong with the AI that their worker leaves their respective city and treks on a journey of 10 tiles..?

Hey Filthy, do you think it would ever be correct to wait 1 turn before taking the ruin if you are about to grow? For the other ruins it won't matter much f you get them this turn or next.

Depends where and when. It's a what? 1/4 for pop ruin in the very early game? And if your scouting units are hanging around an area they aren't out finding MORE ruins. It's the same logic for not clearing camps early, the cost of not doing more exploring/tributing/ruin hunting is too high.

How do you get the tile improvements to appear so quickly when moused over? with EUI it takes 2 seconds for the tile improvements to pop up for me.

It's a setting in the default game you can change.

Why do he change workers name to which city-state their from

It so if he goes to war he doesn't send that worker to the front, because otherwise the opponent can return it if it gets captured.

Later on there are ways for him to return the worker to the city state in exchange for 45 influence.
