Just a Gimmick. for £1.80 for just beans with an added flavour in it. just get a 28p tin of beans and add a squirt of your fav sauce. then not £1.80 spent. A baked bean is NO different for any tin only the sauce changes the taste. yes you will eat them even if they taste like Cr-p.. can not waste money. hehehe you could have numbered the plastic pots with a pencil. So come on make a version yourself and show how cheap you can do it. I would ask what next why not a sweet and sour version. how many people with bean on a plate add some other sauce on it and the other items on the plate.

Chuck a finely chopped birdeye in em, with some garlic granuales and a blob of salty butter, plenty of black pepper and dash of cream (or whole milk if u don't got cream). PERFECT fricken beans, for a jacket spud or on toast or whatever. If u ain't got the birdeye chillis then just a bit of hot sauce or strong chilli powder or whatever.

Almost £2 for a tin of BEANS in tomato sauce with a drop of chilli powder. Vindaloo is vinegar based with 10 or more spices added, cooked over multiple hours, with mutton (usually). This is just spicy beans.

@@fatandy Its fuckin insane the markups that certain brands do just cos of a name or a gimmick. I know it ain't much in the moment, but that shit adds up over the months and years. Always loved ASDA, specially their local meat displays to mix n match. But since I started going to Aldi as well, I worked out the best way to get stuff. Aldis special edition curry sauces are insane. Way better than Sharwoods etc. They do a "Goan Vindaloo" sauce sometimes, thats just perfect for a quick curry, real dark and earthy and vinegary. Whenever they get that in stock I come home in a taxi with 25 jars of it! :D

I know what you mean, you know what, they launched them yesterday morning, I picked them up in the afternoon for reviewing, and they had sold loads, really surprised at that price, if it wasn’t for reviewing on my channel I probably wouldn’t have bothered, do taste nice though 👍🏻

I don't know aboutt the price of these beans, around where I live normal beans a tin are up to 2 pound maybe more now and half tin about 1.50 , so maybe a good deal you got

Nothing new really. Especially with the curried flavour of beans. As a tank operator in the Army (British) we'd quite often add a good dollop of curry powder to our tins of beans. Lovely with bread and butter mmmmmm.
