Piers Morgan Uncensored

11 ай бұрын

Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by TikTok oversized influencer George Keywood and his wife Sienna Keywood as well as host of 'The Blaire White Project' podcast Blaire White to discuss whether George and other 'fat influencers' are glorifying obesity.
George defends his videos as simply satire and comedic to which Piers immediately shuts him down by suggesting the videos 'aren't funny'. Piers then adds that it is making light of a serious problem that kills many people and it is in fact glorifying obesity.
Piers asks George to reveal his weight to which he refuses to give a number. Blaire finds it ridiculous that he would agree to come on a show to discuss oversized influencers and obesity and not give his weight. Piers then asks Sienna for her thoughts on her husband's weight. Says that the videos are light-hearted but she does obviously have some concerns about his health - but explains that George is on a weight loss journey.

Twisted morality, considered as a sin before now it is considered as a virtue all in the name of tolerance because if you will not tolerate your not a loving person. Well true love is when you tell someone that what they are doing is wrong or bad to protect them from consequences rather than tolerating them to their death.

I think is kind of necessary this extreme stupid things in the world, it makes people not wanting to go down those paths. See this entire comment section for an example. "there can't be no good without evil", and this goes for everything, the problem is when the balance is broken and we shift to one side and fall (in this case is getting real heavy on the other side... sorry couldn't help myself XD).

It really should be called a permanent lifestyle change. Crash diets don't work in the long term, no one is going to stick to 1200 kcal a day for months or years or life. People need to reduce their caloric intake to a point where they can sustain it long term so the weight comes off gradually and they can live this lifestyle for LIFE to keep the weight off

He destroyed Piers in this clip. He certainly doesn't have to provide the number he weighs, it is not relevant. The point is if one person has a problem with some 250 lbs and over, someone else might have a problem with 300 lbs and over. Skinny people don't have some God given right to post half naked pics of themselves acting stupid on tic tok, which is what they are all going. Bigger people are allowed to post their stupidity on tictok as well.

Coming from a different standpoint - i was extremely athletic my whole life. After i had my daughter my entire view on my body changed. Seeing women online who had that extra 'mum pooch' and were still confident was a huge boost to me. It made me feel normal. That is what this is. It is normalising it. But there is a difference between normalising normal and normalising illness. Its okay to talk about it. Its okay to put yourself out there and show that you can still be confident in your skin. Its okay to be happy with how you are. What isnt okay is doing that to the detriment of your own (and other people’s) health.

I remember when body positivity was a good thing It meant that you could love yourself whilst also learning to better yourself whilst at the same time embracing your body and size for what it is and embracing yourself for who you are The fact there are literally people now posting about the shit they eat to make themselves get fatter is disgusting, it’s literally glorifying and influencing that behaviour which is very toxic and can cause a lot of problems for anyone watching who can be influenced It’s like people seem to have forgotten you can still love your body and post about body positivity whilst also making changes to yourself for the better But you say this to them and they don’t see it as lifesaving advice they see it as an attack

I love how they said oh we believe in healthy choices as a kid we just didnt have them options... but now you do have the options and you made even worse decisions while you have the ability of choice. If anything being fat as a kid is the most reasonable case for it, but as an adult it either equals laziness or stupidity.

as someone who was very skinny (not anorexic, but just skinny), it never helped when friends/family would tease me for it, it only pissed me off. Because even though I was made fun of for it, in my mind it never clicked why it was a cause for concern (esp since I was just glad that I was no longer fat, which I was as a kid) What helped me to start eating more (and stop thinking im fat) was when a family member honestly talked to me about it, and said its not a good look, and reassured me i was not chubby/fat - that got me believing i can eat a little more and it helped. Much better than someone just taking a jab at you for it - that doesnt help at all to get into the mindset of changing your body weight

Same, but I was always very skinny. I was relentlessly ridiculed for how thin I was at school, in my teens, twenties, and beyond. I did feel left out when all of my work colleagues would go to their ‘diet club’ at lunchtime and get weighed, but I hated the remarks about being accused of not eating, dead matchstick, seen more fat on a chip, but that was me. Another thing which always bothers me is when people comment on posts of larger women being real women. Although I’ve always been on the lean side I’m still a real woman.

The normalization of obesity is just plain crazy and inexcusable. I became obese in my mid 30s and quit deluding myself about the impacts on my health when I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia at age 38. Scared me to action, because I could not just give up and acquire entirely preventable metabolic disease which would ruin my future quality of life along with vastly reducing my life expectancy. I want to be there as my girls grow up, so I lost 40 pounds over a year via diet and exercise and all of those health issues went away, along with the benefits of: better mood, better sex life (married), not constantly craving junk food, and in general just feeling good.

everyone should be able to be proud of who they are, but if something is causing your health to decline then you should not be happier and happier that it is getting worse, i know it is hard to gain and lose weight, bc i have been overweight, ive been underweight, and my body has went through many changes, it is not an easy thing to do but if you really care about yourself, you should try your best to take care of it, there is no problem eating a cake, pizza, ice cream, along with exercising..but it depending on how much or how little you do it, it can be a problem, over eating on sweets can lead to a variety of health problems, but over exercising can also lead to a lot of heath problems, you need to be able to fine a balance and discipline yourself into not doing unhealthy habits

What they should do is post the aftermath of these choices. I’m a nurse and having to watch ppl have dialysis 4 times a week, have quintuple bypass, multiple strokes, fatty livers and an overall awful quality of life is horrendous. They act this way because the repercussions of their actions haven’t fully caught up with them. The fact that his wife is making excuses for him is sad. If you love someone you should be honest with them. I hear all of the time that it is expensive to eat healthy and it’s a lie. If you budget your money you will find eating healthy is possible. We spend money on what we think is important and sadly most see food as a reward rather than eating to live they live to eat.

Such a good point. None of these "influencers" or their followers ever see the repercussions. All they see are people on social media pretending to be happy and proud of the way they are. Little do they know that by doing absolutely nothing about their weight issues, and in fact making them worse, they're rowing full speed towards a waterfall with a very rocky bottom. Like what we used to do with smokers, we should start putting adverts on TV showing fat people in hospital in a harsh but very real way, to show others what happens if you follow down this path, as a warning.

Maybe you should be thankful for living today, instead of living when Ghengis Khan slaughtered 20 million people in the 13th century, or when Nero dumped tar on Christians and set them on fire to add lighting to a party. No, it's not narcissism🙄. Being in denial doesn't make you a narcissist, nor does the example you've given. I really wish people would stop labelling anyone simply acting deluded or egotistical a 'narcissist'. Narcissism/NPD is a disorder with many psychological and behavioural dysfunctions that characterise it, the others more extreme and abject than just egotism or vanity. Once you've actually experienced it, you'll know _and_ know better than to bandy it about for situations or people we simply don't like.

Embaressing, humiliating, awkward or cringe are just human made constructs that are deep-rooted in social anxeity, so if you ever feel embaressed, awkward, humiliated or feel like something is cringy, then you have social anxeity somewhere in you, and you need to work on that, because the feeling of something being embaressing, akward, humiliating or cringe is just chains holding you down from daring to be yourself, and just holds you back and even if it feels embaressing, awkward or cringe, then do it anyway, If you can't do it while not you aren't scared, then do it while you're scared, and confront the it head on, because YOU CAN DO IT YOU MOTHERFUCKER, EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!!! JUST DO IT!!! I BELIEVE IN YOU!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!! JUST DO IT!!!6 FUCK WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS!!! what others think of you might feel like a big deal right now, but in the end, It won't matter, and when you lay there on your deathbed regretting that you didn't dare to be yourself because it felt embaressibg or awkward, It won't feel like a big deal at all so be yourself, and acrew what others think about you. You are the main charecter in your own life, So this life is about you, and your goals, Not about what others think about you, and your goals, and all that shit, so as long as you aren't hurting anyone else, Screw what anyone else thinks. Yourself is the only one you in your life, and anyone else is a bonus.

i agree people should learn to be happy in their own body but i also think people should strive to improve it too. i think piers had a great idea about taking his followers on a fitness journey and maybe it will inspire more people to do the same. A mans role in the home is to provide and protect. how the hell could he protect you from a burglar when it probably takes him 5 minutes to get out of bed. As for providing hes doing ok financially for now but hes one pizza away from a heart attack. get a dog so you are forced to go out for a walk everyday and cut even just some of the junk food and watch the weight fall off you. that goes to everyone out there 20 minutes of exercise a day and some better food choices and youll be feeling great in no time.

I often wonder what kind of weak minded person can be influenced by a nobody on an app, a nobody that has no particular outstanding skills or qualities. Being influenced by a sports star, a musician, a great leader etc, I get it, but being influenced by a fat guy who's only feature is being fat, or a gym "influencer" who just posts videos of themselves doing triceps kickbacks, I really, REALLY don't understand that.

These people are destroying a whole generation of mostly girls. I now know where my obese daughter of 17 years of age is getting this ideology from. I constantly try to keep fit and she was telling me I have an eating disorder, I need to embrace my body and all that dangerous talk. I told her no, when I struggle to tie my shoes, or have issues with my rolls getting into the car, no Im going to try to keep myself fit. Ive told her that we have diabetes on both sides of the family, I told her to observe my sister at 55, multiple surgeries due to her obesity, off work on disability for 9 years, she now had the surgery to loose weight and is very fit. I told my daughter that I don't want her to die before me. This stuff is dangerous and does hurt vulnerable girls.

@@zoltandoubious6183 you spoke my mind. As a parent you should try to give your children as much healthy food you can get. If they get even a bit fat you should start exercising more.
