out of all the ganbare goemon games, 4 was the one i hated. all the puzzles with the boss fights made it hard to even play the game even progress through. thankfully they learned that with the later installments. even 1 2 and 3 were enjoyable

Well I agree with you on this, after careful, I'm not saying that ganbare goemon 4 is a bad game, far from it. But it's true that compared to 1 2 3, it's the one I liked the least, I liked the 1st boss, the final boss, and the boss 2 where it's a bit funny, on the other hand, the tetris boss 4 and the race boss 3 are a bit lacking in inspiration ^^"

Yeah understandable. I can understand that the designers may have wanted to do something different to make the bosses memorable and I do give them that credit but some of these fights don't look that much fun as they are button mashers or they require that the player can act so incredibly fast. I definitely would have grown frustrated with some of these. A shame as I do like how this game looks like. Konami always made such visual pleasing games on the SNES.
