some irony to think about.... 1. Jon went to the wall and got to be with his uncle and great uncle (Aemon). 2. Sir Alliser Thorne was a knight and fought for the Targaryen's during Robert's Rebellion. He considered Robert and Ned to be traitors to the crown. He had no idea that the "bastard" Snow was really the son of his Prince, and the true heir to the iron throne. The whole time he ridicules him and sees him as unworthy. 3. Ned saying to Jon as they both left Winterfell, "when we see each other again, we'll talk about your mother..." and Ned fighting back tears. Robert asking "your bastards mother" and Ned lying and saying "Wyla" and then saying "I didn't talk about her, nor will I" very stern to his friend and King. 4. Ned straight up let everyone think he cheated on his wife and had a son outside of wedlock to protect his nephew and protect house Dayne. Like Aemon Targaryen said to Jon Snow at the wall when Jon wanted to help his brother Rob, "Love is the death of duty." "If the day should come your Lord Father had to choose betwee honor on the one hand and those he loves on the other, what would he do?" Jon replied, "He would do whatever was right, no matter what." Aemon, "then Lord Stark is one man in ten thousand. Most of us are not so strong. What is honor compared to a woman's love? What is duty against the feel of a newborn son in your arms? Or a brother's smile?..." Both men were right. Ned did the right thing, no matter what. And in doing so, truly kept his honor and allowed others to think lies about him and spread them in order to protect an innocent child and a house that had honor. Ned was one in ten thousand. There is a reason many thought Ned should have taken the iron throne. Robert was hurt and could not take it, but Ned marched down to King's Landing and was there, even if Tywin Lannister had already done most of the work. People knew Ned was a great leader and ruler. Even house Bolton didn't dare step out of line with Ned around.

Sansa is cruel & conniving, she has become a product of Cersei & Littlefinger. In the books she's helping Littlefinger slowly kill her little cousin, sweet Robin so that she could marry the next heir of the Vale. Not sure why people admire that power hungry, avaricious, cruel girl! Even in this episode D&D said that she planned on murdering her little sister, but Bran stopped her & told her everything Littlefinger has secretly done.

Ok it’s time y’all know that throughout human history many cultures worldwide saw nothing wrong with marrying relatives until the 19th century. Immediate family members (siblings/parents/grandparents) were off limits but it was quite common for people, especially regal/wealthy families to marry one another to keep bloodlines “pure” and/or ensure wealth stayed within the family. Typically they’d have cousins marry each other as the preference bc they’d be childbearing/rearing age around the same time but on occasion an uncle might marry his niece or an aunt her nephew as the only options. It’s not just a GOT universe thing.

Great reaction again. You both have the luxury of going right into the final season, whereas those who were watching it at the time had to wait over a year to see how it all plays out. Go into the final season free of all the criticisms and just watch it unfold. Cersei who embraces her darker aspects and has no doubt as to her ultimate goal. And on the other side, Daenerys who throughout the show has shown her good side, her mission to make the world better, and has shown the other side of the Targareyan bloodline and the madness that lies below. It will all come to a head very soon.

Once again, your reactions have been phenomenal. The Aegon Targareyn reveal was another "moment" we all never forget. These are the moments that we waited for after suffering through the Red Wedding, Joffrey's insanity, Ramsey's evil nature...all of it. It's what made this series the best thing I've ever watched. Yes, I know how it ended. But I was a fan of the ending. Because Game of Thrones was never a fairytale. It never was written as a fairytale. So in the end...it was not going to have a fairytale ending.

First time commenting here, I just wanted to say that this channel has been my favorite in youtube for months now💌. I love how far you've come also looking forward to s8. NOT spoiling anything but my opinion is with the general consensus. Other than that please go on with The Last of Us, however uncomfortable ep 3 is lol, its a great show really. you don't have to address why you guys allegedly dropped it, we're all adults and we can maturely stand by our views without it being toxic. She always calls out incorrect info because they both talk to each other during the episodes, talking over the dialogue and they miss key info and FACTS that are important to knowing what is going on in the show 😂. First they thought Ned was with his sister Leanna, then they spent a whole season saying Jon and Denarys were cousins, and finally in this episode they state it correctly that they are Aunt and Nephew Smh 😂 They be so lost in the sauce, it is like how are you watching the show but still getting stuff wrong and don’t know what is happening on the show.
