That's not how Thoros did it. It be kind of lame if they had set up the Beric's resurrection only for Jon to be resurrected a completely different way. The first time Thoros did it he wasn't even intending on bringing Beric back. Thoros had lost his faith and saw a friend die and he just said a prayer for his friend and to his surprise he came back.

But in the past 2 episodes they all the sudden started putting an enormous amount of focus on Ghost which makes it seem very much like they're hinting towards it. I just think their focus on Ghost has been a bit excessive if it's just there as a "man and his dog" kind of relationship.

But they are "brothers" (Jon's parents are not officially revealed yet) on journey's of growth and self discovery. They were both gravely injured and came back as something more powerful (I'm assuming for Jon too early still and we all know GRR Martin is evil and feeds on fan tears;) ) So the overall similarities between the two character arcs are hard to ignore

+Lisa Castaneda It has taken five full seasons to develop the story. This resurrection of Jon so early and elimination of Prince Doran indicates a certain haste by D+D by closing off story arcs. I predict The army of The Other at the wall facing off with the living as the season finale. Queen Daenerys will not return to Westeros until next season when the fortunes of the living seem to be at their bleakest. The Eternal Night approaches. May the old gods and the new grant victory to our brave heroes.

I know many people knew this would happen, but it's a testament to this show that the viewers were scared out of their minds cause they know anything was possible. On any other show in television history you wouldn't get people holding their breath like that cause viewers really were uncertain, he really could have just been dead. Don't get too comfortable though, bringing Jon back seemed inevitable. However I would not be surprised in any way if next week they decide to kill off someone who the audience believes is 'unkillable' just to remind us that they still can at any moment.

I'm thinking Tommen is the next one to go, but it won't be for a few episodes or Theon if he doesn't make it back to Pyke (not sure where his story arc is going at this point). I don't see how any other deaths of main characters would serve as a plot point at this moment.
