Jamie lannister was good, but not kingsguard material. I do believe deep down, he always wanted to be an honorable knight. Jamie broke his vows long before he stabbed the mad king in the back, he fathered children with his sister, and to be honest, the only reason he was sworn in to the kingsguard was to spite his father, and keep Jamie close, almost as a hostage. Jamie might be a great fighter, but he isn't cut from the same cloth Ser barriston the bold, ser arthur dayne, ser oswell whent, and ser gerold hightower. They never forsake their vows, and they died true honorable knights.

Ned can keep a secret, but the others with him? Probably not

Jaime could have an entire series about his life. He's far and away the most interesting character to me. I'd love to see him as a wide eyed kid admiring some of the greatest swordsmen of his time. It paints the picture that had things gone just a little different, he could have ended up being the most honourable character in Game of Thrones.

I think that Jaime Lannister is one of the most interesting characters on the show. Loyal to his family and people. It would be cool to see him as Kingsguard of Jon Snow. Anyway the quality of your video is breathtaking, enjoyed every second. Keep up at good work :)

The interesting thing about the Kingsguard under Robert Baratheon is its members - the most interesting in my opinion being the man who tried to kill Tyrion Ser Mandon Moore, he's often portrayed as evil but I disagree. Moore wasn't evil, he was a sword and nothing more. He had no politics, no loyalties other than his job. If you read into him I believe he was a sociopath with no cares other than doing his job, he did his job as he was commanded and came down on the wrong side of history. Think about it, he's been described as "death in a white cloak" having a face like a dead fish and Jaime saying that he was the deadliest member of the kingsguard after himself as you can't tell what's behind his eyes. Not exactly a guy you'd invite to a pool party
