He lived under the shadow of his older brother most of his life and when the war began he had to make a choice, my king or my brother, but he eventually decided that blood was stronger than anything, so he held Storms End for a whole year, while Robert went on winning battle after battle, and after Kings Landing had been sacked Robert seemed to have forgotten about his brother, Ned Stark lifted the siege, after that Robert gave Storms End To Renly... and he is still denied his throne.

All true! But Stannis has put honor and duty above blood more often than not. If not for Sir Davos, he would have also killed Robert's bastard, but given how strongly he feels about being the rightful King of Westeros and what he did to Renly, his lack of feelings for a nephew is not a big surprise...

no, he doesn't, he doesn't have any particular love for Robert, i only meant that on that occasion, he felt he had a duty to his older brother, so thats why he held Storms End. but i felt that what Renly did to him was very dishonorable, he decided that he was a better king than Stannis and most of the Baratheon bannermen chose Renly's side. so he ended up killing his own brother, something that wasn't easy for him to do.
